Twice now this week I’ve been stuck on an endless loading screen due to the Applying Update bug. I’ve been temporarily banned and presumably lost SR due to this bug. I’ve seen it reported dozens of times, however it isn’t listed in the known bugs list.

Same, just got banned for 8 hours due to this happening 3 times in a row. How tf am I supposed to have this removed?
before you start your first game go to training range to let the applying update complete . everytime you open ow you have to go to training range to avoid the update bug stucked and prevent you join the comp game
God I hope this works. I’ll try when I get home but I’m not hopeful.
the annoying thing is everytime you open ow you have to do it again, sighh 
I’ve had it multiple times where a few games in a row went fine then suddenly the next one i was stuck in applying update. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason as to when it happens.

I just tried this and it didn’t work. Still applying update for at least 20 minutes.
