I Qued into another game and I got an apply update bug which makes it impossible for me to load into the game. I tested it by waiting 10 mins on my second apply update bug to make sure that it wasn’t actually something I got stuck on but rather something that I had to wait for before I loaded into the game. Obviously, this did not work out as I waited 10 mins for nothing to happen forcing me to ULT+F4. This post is my third time getting the apply update bug and I realized that the game is Queuing me up with others who also disconnect probably because of the apply update bug and not because they are bad people. So even after I get through the first hassle (apply update bug) I need to make sure no one on my team or the enemy’s team doesn’t disconnect from the bug either to have a match. Because of this I am not going to play this game until they fix it. this bug has been reported all the way back in January and it’s not been fixed to this day.
First time seeing this happen today. It’s wildly infuriating, penalty and a 15 minute ban for abiding by every rule.
Needs a fix asap. This is a ridiculous reason for the game to break.
I had the same thing, I swear Overwatch1 never had these issues.
Same symptom to me. I’ve banned 1hr Today without any my intended action.
Frustrating. Second time this has happened to me. I don’t have the time to add 15 minutes to a game session. Not looking forward to getting more bans from a bug.
It has happened to me twice now, a couple days ago, and today. It’s really infuriating to get banned for an error on their side.

the game “applies update” every single time I do anything including going to the practice range, doesn’t matter how many time I do it. so this bug will literally never go away until they fix it. their fix of going into the practice range, then going into unranked, does nothing. it just has to “apply update” wrong once, and you get banned… again
