Apple has done it again…
They’ve changed the game forever!
WWDC had some insane announcements but the one that stuck out to me was this new development tool…
Apple’s “Game Porting Toolkit” could make porting games like Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 significantly easier…
It was claimed that it could reduce the amount of time needed from several months to just weeks!
Even more exciting still was the demonstration of a new DX12 “emulation” layer…
There’s still the looming threat of a Microsoft merger which could nullify much of this wonderful progress…
So will Blizzard get on board with these incredible new developments?!

Blizzard can’t keep the game current on PC alone, why would we divert effort to Apple as well?

I don’t get why you’re so obsessed with OW coming to Mac. You clearly play OW so you have a PC and I seriously don’t know why anyone would buy a Mac with the intention of playing games on it.

Apple should have just used Vulcan instead of their own solution.
Of course that would mean more compatibility with Android, can’t have that.
