Apex or OW? Which is better?

I’m curious about how people are feeling about this new title.

SO how are ya feeling about it?

Honestly i haven’t tried Apex enough yet to say which one i like more.
However I WILL say Apex is a breath of fresh air and I can take a short break from OW now and play something else for a bit.

These 2 are not comparable. But I will say that compared to other Battle Royale games this one made me install it and I enjoy it quite a lot.

OW is better because I despise battle royales. I like hero shooters. It’s like theyre different genres :thinking:

How about you wait till Activision… errr Blizzard gives OW a Battle Royale mode before comparing the two as both are different game types.

And it helps immensely that it’s a F2P title, so there’s no monetary commitment. You try it out, stay if you like it, leave if you don’t.

Apex is another Battle Royale game… why try to compare? Totally different format.

I’ve tried several Battle Royale games and the game play of having to run around looting for 15 minutes then 30 seconds of battle just isn’t my style. Overwatch will always be more fun to me than that, and that’s just my preference.

I really wanted to try out apex but literally the max fps I can get is 20 on lowest settings

And I thought Overwatch had a small hero roster.
Apex will run it’s course FAST if they don’t add a bunch of content and quick.

I would be 100x more hyped for Apex if it was an Arena shooter.

Like it looks fun and I’m going to give it a shot later today, but I’m just so sick of the BR trend.

Apex will be a dead game in a month. The more I play, the more I realize the clock is ticking. Looting is tedious and the fights get redundant. Everyone peeks and chips away until the team with less medkits/shields runs out and dies. Seems like the opportunities to outplay someone are limited.

Apex is a BR game. OW is a team class shooter. They are not comparable in that regard.

But as far as heroes go visually and personality wise. OW has way more heart and soul than Apex Legends heroes. They are all so generic, soulless and forgettable, which is a shame because then cosmetics become pointless for characters who i have no interest in.

Also they all look low res so maybe that has to do with it. For instance Caustic hair looks poorly done and made out of clay.
