It’s the summer steam sale and I’m considering buying R6. Anyone try it? If I do buy the game is it worth getting the gold or ultimate edition? Reminds me of CSGO, but with specialized characters.

I enjoyed it but gave up because of the pay to win nature. If you do get into it, definitely get an edition that gives you more characters, obviously, or you will just be stuck with the base ones.

I played it a bunch until I got hooked on Overwatch. I got a few Aces back in the day on Bandit and Castle (saved them on my youtube). I was always a Thermite kind of guy on attack.

I really like it,
I like the characters and ththe gun play and the team work with hold sites and picking characters.
grinding out operators is frustrating so id get the one with them all, but not all operators are good so just buy the OP ones

A good alternative to this game if you prefer grittier stuff, but it still has some fun, playful elements to it.

Its really good. But as a hard of hearing player its much harder for me than Overwatch. Even moreso now that OW has subtitles.

Yes, yes, yes. I read all about it. And the base operators are allegedly the best. I disagree heavily and do not have, how many hours does it take to grind your first operator? I played a lot and still never got them…

They implemented not too long ago a system that would decrease the price of a DLC op after every season by 5,000 renown. Eventually ops would go down to just 10K renown.

Yeah, way better than the 800 FREAKING HEALTH IT HAD ON LAUNCH THAT TOOK OVER 30 ROUNDS TO DESTROY.
Thank god he has two with a LOT less health, but still, don’t buy him. He sucks.

Ok, then I will buy it. I’m buy the ultimate bundle for 50, cause I hate grinding in any game, except in mmorpgs.

Also buying Half life for 1 dollar, which is awesome. I was going to buy it yesterday for 10 dollars and today it was on sale for 1 dollar.
I’m also buying Valkyria Chronicles 4 and FEAR 2. I have a hard copy of FEAR 1 that still works on my computer.
