So I have all items unlocked except legendary from loot boxes. I assumed the 2017 player icon was from the winter wonderland event. It still didn’t unlock for me when I was getting nothing but duplicates.
I was expecting it to unlock with the anniversary event, but here I am getting nothing but duplicates and it’s still locked.
Anybody else having similar problems? Is the 2017 player icon some type of special icon you had to buy something to unlock or is it just bugged? Any insight is appreciated.
I think you get the 2017 icon when you log-in during the winter wonderland in Jan 2017, or it was exclusive to the winter wonderland 2016 lootboxes (I’m not entirely sure though, since I wasn’t around at that time).
It wasn’t the special event icon that was winter wonderland snowflake 2017 that was the special icon, the 2017 hat is just a drop in the crates, or it was. This is the only icon I’m missing as well because I didnt farm hard enough in 2017 to think they’d remove that icon from loot boxes. I really hope they add it back this winter.
