When i set it to off, game doesnt feel smooth. Even with the stable 100 fps.
I have 1440x900 75hz vga monitor and hdmi to vga conventer. People say conventer causing this. Is it true? Can i fix that lag with new hdmi monitor?
Vsync makes it smoother at the cost of input lag so you have to choose. Pretty sure its not as smooth cause of the tearing and stuff.
If you dont have Gsync or Amd sync (forgot the name) in your display you should play with vsync. It’s not big difference in input lag but big to your eyes comfort.
Vsync should never ever be on, its horrible and input lag is always bad and you should reduce it if possible.

you may decide the sacrifice is worth it, I don’t think it is but that’s up to your preference if you play mostly tank like me. but if you play mostly hitscan McCree, Widow, etc… it is 100% a big deal and should be turned off.
The last time I played with Vsync-on was about 20 years ago, when the option appeared in the games. I dont remember where it appeared first, but even back then everyone hated it.
Dont use any kinds of converters.

cap fps to 72 fps (or 57fps)
This should work
only if the issues of not having it on are making it harder to see or accurately aim which is very rare but possible
You know what mouse delay is right? under no circumstance u want a mouse delay in a FPS.

I leave it off. I would rather have a little bit of screen tearing than more lag.
Being nice and not a pain would go a long way it makes people actually listen and not turn away.

I hope you aren’t playing games in widow or borderless window mode then cuz if so, you have been using triple buffering all the time if you have win 8 or 10.
