Honestly solo queue is 1000x better than group and duo. This game will just throw you in the most uneven matches if you group with anyone.
Weekdays? Usually solo. I’m in meetings for at least 6 hours/day at work. I don’t want to talk to people after work.
Weekends? I’ll absolutely group up
I mostly play solo queue and it is a miserable experience!
I agree. It is simply not very likely to find people you know and get along with that are all in the same tier. In some ways, the people you play with you will start to learn their habits. I prefer duo over solo since it ssomeone to partially bounce off with, but you still have the variety of random people joining the game.
However, despite the game being wildly variable in groups you get the benefit of playing with people you know.
on one hand i play better alone, on the other i have more fun playing with friends

I’m also a person who cuts off all chat and voice comms and just play to myself because I can’t withstand any toxicity if it comes my way. I rather focus on myself. Solo quick play is fun too though. I 99% don’t play with a group.
