I constantly go 30-3, 25-6, 10-2, 20-4 in my games as sym.
I Keep getting teammates that just cant play this game while going against grandmasters in bronze…
I just ended a game where I had 27-2 and my DPS teammate was 3-16
what do I do I dont get it. I win one match I only go up 11% I lose a match I go down 18% is it even possible to climb in bronze?
If the system is convinced you are where you belong that’s where you’ll play. Just play easy low skill ceiling heroes. Ignore your team, just play cheap and go for cheap easy kills and try to limit your deaths the system will eventually just push you into silver. But its no better there really you’ll still get wildly imbalanced matches. If you ask me and a lot of other people. The ranked system in this game is one of the worst around. Don’t put to much weight in its evaluation of you or your rank. There is A LOT of RNG that goes into your rank in OW.
OW is moving towards a CoD playstyle so focus on mechanical skill and solo survivability. Not relying on your team basically. Use the map for cover learn where health packs are all that good stuff. Most importantly leave comp to the streamers lol. Its not worth the headache dealing with it for real. Like for real if youre stuck in bronze there is no point. I wont even play on high gold plat accounts. Theyll never move up in this system so whats the point getting frustrated over it.
Yes, you need to be consistant and focus only on your own mistakes.
I have been in bronze too in OW1 (it had way more smurfs and was the equivalent of bronze 8 because I was under 700 SR) , now diamond 1 and still climbing.
If you are a sym OTP, join a sym discord sever and ask them for a gameplay replay review (someone at least master).
They will point out what you can improve on.
Don’t waste your time blaming your teammates, it took me at least 6 months to realize that no, my mistakes were not smaller than my teammates mistakes and that 100% of my deaths were my fault alone.

Was going to say something then saw the dude above absolutely nailed it. Pay attention to player like that. Pay no attention to people crying about systems or whatever.
All of the above is completely incorrect.
The only way out of ANY rank the algorithm puts you into, is with a new, fresh account.
Nothing you do will ever get you out of bronze now. You are hardstuck and that is what Blizzard wants. Means you will play longer than you would if you weren’t unhappy, which gives them more engagement for their earnings calls.
Want out of Bronze? Trust me when I say: Make a new account, and see what happens. Your main account is screwed.
