Anyone just...crushed?

Today, I get on the forums to see what new balance changes are on the way…not really any hopes or expectations. Then I see the Brig changes and my heart just plummets down to my stomach.

I know it’s just a game and it’s just a hero. But I’ve straight given up. I’ve given up hope in this game since it is clearly not intended to be fun for me and many other tank/support mains as shown by constant changes, with the final straw for me being the constant demand to warp brig.

I don’t know if they want the game to be more about “skill” or funner for the top or to watch in OWL. I just know it’s no longer including me.

Even as someone who always said I would pre order OW2 when it’s available…I don’t think i’ll be coming back to the OW franchise at all anymore.

This is not a goodbye letter to the forums or whatever, I’m just expressing my disappointment, I hope those who still enjoy the game can continue to have fun. I wish you the best from my Animal Crossing island :sparkling_heart:

i am just…sad…it’s a game but i never thought it would feel this bad, this wasn’t intended to be a goodbye letter to the forums lol but maybe it should be

Same here. They are nerfing Brigs entire role (a support oriented to assisting DPS specifically) to zero. Now shes just a bad healer with no upside. Guess Lucio+Ana is the only supports in the game again for a year or so.

I’m not looking forward to OW2 at all. They have done a piss poor job adding content to OW1 and now expect people to pay 60$ for the same game with some single player missions that were probably ready a year ago in OW1s engine.

See it hurts because the Junk/dva changes are so good, but then they had to do that to Brig. And not a single change to Genji’s ult gain.

I think many of us in the minority are beyond exhausted

I just want to give the dps mains and aim-elitists victory. I want them to just win already instead of slowly stabbing me as they gaze into my eyes as I slowly lose my will to live.

If you don’t want supports to be impactful, nerf them already. If you don’t want dps to be so dependent then buff them already. If you want tanks to stay ult batteries then you’re doing a great job.

Just speed up this headache :sleepy:

i feel that, i was like that, but i’ve been 100% clean from the ow drug since like? march? when animal crossing came out LOL, try finding new games!

also i’ve just been disappointed enough that i was finally able to quit

this is the saddest part…i wanted ow2 so bad, but now…i just dont care, i’ll spend my money better somewhere else

Don’t get too heart broken now, while this iteration of the Brig changes are godawful, I’m thinking they won’t go through just like Moira’s changes

I’m certain that it will be iterated upon and done in a way that will satisfy most.

The execution of these changes are… well, an execution to be quite frank. However, the logic behind why the changes are being made makes sense.

From someone who bought animal crossing and played a whopping 20 minutes in total and never again did I touch that game, Overwatch is not the game for you

Whenever enemy doomfist killed our ana and said one punch is all i need.

My head voice would say one Brig is all we need.
They spank that doom for the rest of the game.

Its just almost depressing watching what they are doing to support listening to people who just want to delete these heros.

Think about it differently. In OW2 you can play PvE and level up more than 30 heroes, without the fear of enemies complaining how OP your character can get. That’s sounds fun for me.
No more stress from PvP. I guess I will play way more PvE than PvP when OW2 comes because it’s seems less stressful. I will have more fun.

Maybe you will be able to buy a talent that makes Brig able to grant extra armor HP again and maybe even more barrier HP too. Who knows?

If a character is dominating then they get nerfed
