Anyone else worried about getting banned from stadium?

I’m not saying a PC crashing, I mean if the OW servers themselves crash.

If it’s a whole system wide thing where everyone is affected then most likely those ones would be scrubbed. But if it was just you then it counts

The servers regularly getting getting DDoSed is my fault? Chill, Jeff Kaplan.

No but when it’s your own bad internet connection and not the blizz servers, then yes. That is on you. Kinda like I have said.

I could be mistaken but I though generally when servers had widespread issues, punishments were still dealt

That makes me afraid to play stadium on release incase it over flows the servers and causes crashes.

Other games like MOBAs with long match times already have pretty strict penalties like this and it’s never been a problem.

Yeah, but you are just ignoring the fact that people catch bans for these unstable servers. Your argument SHOULD be to just not play whenever it happens. But from what I heard, it has been regularly happening because of some World of Warcraft nerds. I only saw it happen once and my Sistah Spice and I did not get kicked, but over half the lobby did. And it was creating some weird issues trying to actually find a match. Idk.

Your strange little fantasy that they reverse those or whatever is laughable and just part of the reason that I know you are definitely 19 years of age. Lol

Lmao if you’re only disconnecting when there are widespread ddoss attacks like you’re saying then your account wouldn’t have action on it. It doesn’t happen often enough to get banned. Now if you’re leaving ON TOP of that, or have a bad connection, then it will add to it.

Your strange little fantasy that nothing is ever the players fault and no one should ever take any accountability for themselves or whatever is laughable and just part of the reason why I know you are definitely trolling in 90% of your interactions.

Lol

Bye bye buudkid

Probably not. But apparently they have been happening? I guess you are just supposed to play quickplay whenever that happens? Or more realistically Mahvel.

Maybe if the person DDoSing is the one who got banned, sure. They are fault for that.

Obviously the truth is closer to the middle, as you mentioned. The DDoS attacks push someone over the edge that was leaving games for whatever reason. But if they were not violating any of the rules AND THEN a disconnect from the server on Blizzard’s end pushes them over the edge, it is NOT their fault even if they obviously could have been more careful. And if I heard of these attacks, everyone else should of. I do not even play this game.

So, yeah, they should do their due diligence and expect Blizzard to be as useless as my contributions to a thread. Because they are. Probably worse, actually. I occasionally answer a question, at least. :triumph:

Exactly. They DONT happen often enough that they’d be the cause of any kind of ban. And no you can play whatever mode you want. Just stop complaining about receiving justified account actions. And if you’re concerned about account action, then don’t play that mode. Very simple. But evidently the more difficult path and the one of most resistance is the one you’ll shoot for so go for it.

I might try stadium tomorrow or the next day, you’ll never know that the server might acting up due to the influx of players on the day 1 of this new season.

Until you try to login to the game you’ll get a message that says in order to play you must add a phone number on the account or you wont be playing. Try it

I’ve just received a ban for 8 hours because I reset the game between rounds because I’ve been experiencing a glitch where if I lag at all I get 330+ ping constantly for the rest of the match unless I rejoin. It’s so cooked that that counts as leaving since I’ve finished every game I’ve been in this season.
