I don’t leave matches, but it still scares me that I will be no longer be able to play the mode if something happens.
Owning Multiple accounts does have its benefits, all tho I haven’t had an action on any yet. But I feel your fear. Playing on this account always makes me think 4x befor typing anything if at all or even if I should play.
That isn’t the case on an alt, its just whatever. playing a game like any other.

Same. I have power cuts here and there. It’s worst now due to summer and also worried about net stability. It sometimes disconnect me out of nowhere.

Right? They should have made stadium QP so perma bans wouldn’t be a thing.

If it’s like other comp modes, it takes 10 leaves in a season to get a comp ban for the season. Or 5 leaves without 20 games. I doubt you would be getting season bans unless your internet regularity cuts out, in which case you probably shouldn’t play comp anyways.

Normally I would agree, except there is only comp for stadium.
Correct. I assume that is due to how long games are, and it can’t really be backfilled the same way as other modes. Being comp only removes the backfill and higher quitter rate issue.

What I would suggest is just document it with time and date.
So if you do get banned. Maybe you can use the documentation to show it was not in your hands.

Technically all I would have to do is create a new account, but I would prefer playing on my main account. If you don’t mind making new accounts leaving isn’t a problem.
Yea but that comes with a cost, you require to have an SMS capable device that isn’t pre-paid it has to be POST paid and those aren’t cheap. This is for every account not just one sms device for all.
Nah I wouldn’t play many competitive games with such penalties if I couldn’t finish games
I think they backed down from that, I just went to account creation and a phone number is optional.
Except stadium is ONLY comp. I don’t even want to play comp, I hate it, but there is no alternative.

Im guessing you can be permabanned from Comp if you leave games too early too often?

Yeah as a tank player I’m definitely going to be forced to play heroes I don’t like/am no good at, that stinks.

Right but you mention power outages and life events. I am sympathetic to people who have to deal with very unstable power or internet, but it’s kinda part of the territory. You can be banned from even QP.
I also have sympathy to life events. I’m lucky enough to not have any kids, but the only time I’ll play anything ranked is when I know (with decent certainty) that it’s unlikely anything will come up (wife has gone to bed). It’sjust about knowing when I can and can’t play ranked.
