Anyone else uninstalled?

Or quit playing until they revert or make drastic changes? I enjoyed the first day but it became clear really fast that this “new and improved” patch is actually the worst thing that’s ever happened to this game.

No, it’s just you. OW2’s online skyrocketed recently.
Btw, this is not an airport, and you do not have to announce your departure

Surely it’s not because one of the largest (Arguably worst) patches just got deploy.

It’s not just you.
I haven’t uninstalled…but I also haven’t played since late 2023 and can’t be bothered to even try the latest patch despite having installed it.

They killed all enthusiasm I had for this game somehow, and I used to be obsessed in the OW1 days.

If only Blizzard would invest more into the game development instead of their webcare team.

Naw, Bobby was the worst thing that happened to OW. God I hope his yacht sinks with him trapped on it.

Next person to announce the depature of a streamer gets reported. And anyone who suddenly cares about a streamer leaving.

And i play more than ever before

surely it’s not the new season doing this?

from what I’ve been hearing, it’s mostly the dedicated players who played consistently for several seasons that are leaving.

Also been hearing a lot of people who only come back for the start of new seasons saying how much they love the patch…

curious (then again this is all anecdotal and the actual demographics may be much different)

Yeah i played some matches and left and uninstalled it again, played like 2 matches and it already started to frustrate and piss me off.

Debatable. I’ve been a support main since the open beta of OW1. I was total dog water at DPS and Tanking but this recent patch made it much more enjoyable. But this is the same for any other player that’s bad at the game (yes that includes me).

The simple truth is that Bli$$ard is catering to casual players because casuals and low rankers make up for 70-90% of the player base. Hitting this target results in more newcomers and higher profits as new players are actually likely to stick around. Before this patch, the game felt absolutely repelling to newcomers. The game was too heavily skill based; also riddled with cheaters and smurfs.

Just go look it up. Some dude went 3 days terrorizing T500 without getting banned. No matter what people say or respond with, if they’re good then report them for cheating. If they seem good, it’s about 10-30% likely they’re cheating. Had one dude this morning keep popping my friend playing sombra out of stealth. His response? “I’m playing on console,” even though you can’t aim assist on stealth.

new patch that was supposed to drastically change the game.

ya think?

predicted rank bronze, yeah I’m out

Blizzard is horrible, but the patch is fine.

DPS have to actually play with their team, supports finally lose the healbot gameplay and TTK is longer. GG man have fun with whatever u play next

It really did. 60k people are watching on Twitch right now.

I won’t blame Kotik for stupid balancing decisions that team4 made. I don’t think any of his orders were related to any balancing in this game. However, his leaving matches the better balance, so I guess we celebrate regardless.

I am not sure what’s your point here, but if we neglect this pepega-forum, the feedback is mostly positive as I observe. Yes, the start of a new season takes place, but I believe this is more than just that. The game took fundamental changes, a lot of changes, it feels like OW3, a completely different and positive experience compared to what I personally had being one of these very consistent players across 8 seasons.

Yes, of course, fundamental changes that we all wanted, actual support nerfs (not slaps of the wrist). The game is playable and balanced across the roles. I can still play Bap on support as I used to play and solo any dps 1v1 and sometimes 1v2, but now I can also opt back to my dedicated damage role, which I have forgotten since the ow2 release. As for the tanks, they don’t feel like outdamaging and outliving any impact anymore, never liked that role by myself.

Let’s see what’s the “fine-tuning” comes from Alec_Dawson post on twitter. Hopefully, this would not be something more than addressing widow’s issue onetapping shooting the air.

Didn’t they just release a patch???

HEEEELLLLOOOO

I play waaaaay less but no need to uninstall until my space gets a bit right. I still got 2.5 tb free

I played the first hours after the patch, got Illari skin in battle pass…Just in case…

Closed the game real fast, and im not going back unless they change everything back.
