And I mean way too much damage. She absolutely destroys Reaper and Doomfist in duels. She can even hold her own against Hog. Yes, Hog. Her self-healing combined with her damage is insane.

Reaper and Doomfist destroy themselves with how big their hitboxes are so I’m not sure they’re the best examples to use…

Wait… you’re telling me that the heroes with either the highest survivability of the tanks/highest burst potential of the DPS are losing to a support? I… I don’t think that’s entirely accurate.

She does the same damage as a quick melee (35 hp). Winston must seem as a DPS god to you.

Her damage isn’t even that good… and she has to be on the front line in order to do damage.

I’ll have to take your word on that one, since I’m not on the PTR. However, I will say that her being able to stuff DPS is good news.

She exists to answer the question: “What do I pick to pull a win when my teammates insta-lock the 5 least effective dps in the game?”

The need for a tank-support hybrid is insane. She there to fill a canyon wide niche.

This is probably the best answer. She is for lower ranks. Kinda like how WOW vanilla hybrids were OP in lower level dungeons.

She does about 35 damage a swing. That’s 5 more than a melee.

You and everyone else seem to forget how OP mentioned her self healing

Doing high damage =/= tanking and outlasting huge burst classes cause of self heals

I’m not sure if what OP said is true but damage isn’t the only thing to be considered, especially if her self heal is as stupid op as OP says
