It’s like never ending, i keep losing over and over again no matter how well i perform, and i’m against only good players vs pretty bad players overall, i didn’t win a game since the launch

I have been trying to log in nonstop since launch. I’ve seen the main menu exactly 2 times for about 60 seconds before being sent back to the queue purgatory
People that claimed you have more individual impact in 5v5 deluded themselves. It is so much harder to carry a 5v5 with one thrower than it is a 6v6. Especially when said thrower is your tank.

If tank or healer don’t perform well, it’s hard to recover, but it’s weird that they keep putting me against good players vs bad, at least do a 1/2
I logged in for two hours on the first night and won almost all of my games as a support. But then again I played beta so I knew more of what to expect…

I think ive only lost 1 of my placements do to a leaver.
Yeah.
I get matched with a lot of genuinely new players.
I can go 30-40 final blows, <10 deaths and still lose a match cause my teammates get lost on the map, don’t seem to understand the mode, or are struggling with their characters ability kit.
Not hating on them, because I exactly remember how dumb I played in my first Overwatch 1 matches, but I don’t get why I am getting matched with them to begin with.

You know OW1 Bronze - Diamond are placed in Silver Elo actually? This game in his current state is lottery - I was high Plat on Tank last season and got silver rank. Saw a Diamond DPS who got silver aswell. A friend (silver dps) got silver too.

Nope, I actually had 13 straight wins on launch day but ended up losing I think 4 games by the time I got disconnected, record was something like 18-4 (this was just quickplay & 1 arcade game, not comp)

That’s probably because they were boosted in OW 1. You can no longer camp behind a shield. The heroes who do not require mechanical skill are no longer as good. The heroes that do require you to actually position and use strafing + cover.
They may actually belong in silver atm because of that.

Glad to see i’m not alone, i guess it’s because a lot of people are coming back playing or new players and game system have no choice but place them with us…

Ranks are all over the place. They more than soft reset people so you have all sorts of high ranks players in gold and upwards spread across the ranks.

Again cause campers boosted by cheap OW 1 mechanics. A lot of mercy one tricks and junkrat mains probably.
Getting high rank with junkrat is not easy thou.
lost 3 matches in comp due to d/c. I wonder if my account is going to receive a penalty… and why is this mode still live?
