Anyone Else Here that Still Genuinely Loves Overwatch

All I see is negativity everywhere. Is Overwatch perfect? No, but no game is. I still love playing the game. I have fun playing the game. I love all the characters. I love the maps and modes. The skins are awesome even if I don’t buy them. I love the goofy interactions and voice lines. I still love this game and have just as much fun playing it now as I always have.

I do as well. This game is more well made than people give it credit for.

Not anymore I tried again today to see new hero but no it’s not as fun, had 2-3 games dominated by widow I just quit again, MR is more fun right now no dumb one shots there

I’m just curious to see 6v6 with modern heroes and gameplay so i will try

I think even the complainers (of which I’ve been one often enough lately) care a lot for the game.

It’s because they care that they comment and wish for changes. Doubly so for those who have been with the game since the start. They know what it could be.

I think a lot of people on this forum love the game. But just because they love it, doesn’t mean they don’t see its foibles.

…IMHO

Delete OW2 and go back to no limits OWC and we are good.

That’s the worst state of overwatch possible lmao

MR has one shots galore when Black Widow gets boosted by Storm and/or Mantis.

After playing Rivals for 2 days, I can say my love for OW has grown even more. No lag or frame rate drops in Overwatch <3

The game made me understand why people cut themselves just to feel something :stuck_out_tongue: It’s not fun, but it’s something, I guess.

Hate and love are two sides of the same coin. Overwatch players hate Overwatch because they loved what it once was. The opposite of love in this case is apathy, which is probably what most Overwatch players feel about most other games.

I really don’t like the direction the game has taken so I can’t say I love it anymore. Every patch feels like a slap in the face. I really want to like the game but it’s getting harder and harder as it becomes less and less like the game I fell in love with

I agree, especially after not playing or checking the forums for a while after completing the last bp.

Whether valid critisicm or not, the whole shtick of angry posts eeeevery single daaay gets old pretty quick. Not that people shouldn’t be allowed to post but at the same time why enter the forums if it’s all going to be the same bs?

“________ Is going to KILL overwatch?”
“Play _____ instead”
“this _______ of _______ role is making me quit”

and how can we forget the old: “After playing INSTERT NUMBER OF HOURS i’ve decided to stop playing overwatch”

Jesus christ. The community and the devs are not dumb, we aaaaaaall know what’s right and wrong with the game yet we all happen to make the same mistakes over and over (Especially the devs)

This isn’t what it used to be nor it will be ever again, i think fighting for that is futile. All we can hope for is that they make the right decisions and stop prioritizing the most unimportant of things and give back the content they discarded for no reason.

Overwatch is insanely fun, the designs and vibe of the game is impeccable and unique. No other game is going to be the new “Overwatch” (why do they think we keep calling it that?)

I just hope the best for the game, as we all do here i suppose.

I do but I want overwatch to be better and at its current state it’s mediocre

I still love Overwatch, but I am having an awful time. If I played ranked, I would fall below my Mahvel rank which is saying something… Because they start everyone at Bronze 3. It’s just so… Ugh. I am in the middle of a match right now afk because I am having so little fun. My Juno too, apparently.

Fix/upgrade your pc, i dont have any issues. They dont use the same engines. Its like taking a ford tempo in to get a lambo engine…

Never seen it in 20 hours, it’s far more difficult to do than picking widow and left clicking

I don’t hate it. It’s one of my favorite and maybe (certainly?) my most played game ever. I would rather do almost anything than play it currently. Just bored. Still hope it does well and people enjoy it.

I also think it’s a great game. Has stuff to gripe about, of course, but nothing glaring in the grand scheme of things.
I should probably at least try Marvel Rivals now that there’s finally a comparable hero shooter besides Paladins, but it can wait

If it weren’t for

  1. The s*xual harrassment California lawsuit/exposè
  2. Canceling PvE (or just not announcing it to begin with)
  3. Initially charging for heroes when OW2 released
  4. Closing down the servers in China so millions of players could no longer access the game

Overwatch 2, and Blizzard in general, would still be held in much higher regard. The new monetization model is icing on the cake, but it was the above reasons that buried Overwatch’s reputation internationally.
