I’m in central Illinois using Ethernet. usually my ping is between 20 and 30, but it currently is upwards of 200. My connections is normal on everything else. Anyone know if something’s going on near Chicago?
From North Carolina here on AT&T gigabit, usually connect to Chicago servers (ord1) at 35-50ms ping, but as of today started seeing periodic ping spikes up to 90ms for 5s at a time before it drops back down to normal for a bit.
Using the looking glass tool, you can see both the normal and high pings if run at the right time.

Some other players I’ve spoken with have been experiencing this, and judging from the traceroute, things start going sideways around hop 6 or 8.
yep, from nc and am experiencing a similar occurrence. I think it is at&t’s fault.
speaking of high ping and spikes i have been seeing un usual high ping like im usually 30-45 ping but been seeing spikes over 100 maybe even 200
