Anyone else hate Rialto?

Anyone think that Rialto is a steam-roll or an absolutely huge defeat? I personally find it the worst map in the entire game. Don’t get me wrong, it’s absolutely gorgeous… but they need to re-work it.

Its one of my favorites. After King’s Row and Eichenwalde.

i quite enjoy, as it is one of the few places orisa is truly viable. its my favorite payload right after dorado. just because of versatility.

No, I ADORE Rialto, it is a wonderful map.

I only don’t like the first point, aesthetically my favorite map tho.

Rialto is my most hated map, especially the first bend. After that it’s ok but you either break through that bend in the first few pushes or you’re probably not even going to reach the first checkpoint.

Love Rialto is with Horizon my fav
Guess i just realy like open maps

Yeah it’s really not my favorite at all, but it’s enjoyable.

I really dig payload maps, it’s probably one of my faves

The first bridge is always the most stressful part of the map, after that it’s all good.

Hated it at first
But now that I’ve taken the time to learn my hero on it it’s actually quiet enjoyable even despite the fact I will always be against a Pharahmercy with how open it is

I love it because it is a great sniper map… Or not, if my teammates are to be believed. The second choke is hard to break because nobody at platinum takes the high-ground, they just run through it. Like… Fam? In other words, my one problem with it is how low level players approach it, ya dig?

There isnt a map in this game that i dont like.

Rialto is basically Pharah’s and snipers map, its beautiful and fun to look but playing on that map is just a chore.

Even Junkertown feels better at times.

I actually love it. To me, it pars with King’s Row - it enables a lot of different heroes and lets them shine in any “niche” in that map

I can see why some people do not like it, though. I imagine there will be some changes to come to it eventually, especially to the last checkpoint.

In all honesty I don’t like a single map that came out after release. Oasis is bearable I guess but the others I would love to just avoid.

Rialto is entirely based upon which team manages to keep playing Pharah the longest on the attack phase. That’s it.
A ton of heroes can work on this map, but Pharah is 9000% objectively better than any of them. Get hit once? Disappear behind a roof. Enemies around a ledge? Easy clap. Wanna ult? Plenty of flank routes basically made with a Pharah ult in mind. Scared of Widow sightlines? Don’t worry, there’s 90 degree turns you can exploit.

Also it just ends up being another sleeper Orisa-Hog map for the tank players. Yaya, can’t wait to fight a shield battle for 9 minutes against another Orisa-Hog. Whichever team runs out of damage reduction when their shield is low is probably losing the fight, but it’s also doing God himself a favor by speeding up the process of skipping a payload map.

I wish this game had map select. That would let Blizzard understand that the 3 Torb, Junk and Mercy mains that defend 2CP and hybrid as “competitive” game modes are in fact 3 people and everyone else would rather play Oasis or Lijiang over anything else.
