Anyone else get confused by enemy/ally ult voicelines?

I know its just something you get used to but I mix them up all the time. For english speaking heroes only of course. Other languages make it really clear who an ally or enemy.

Like an ally junk could ult and I panic because the enemy team also has a junk. And I just scramble before realising it was my teammate. Same for high noon.

I think Sojourn’s the worst offender here. Both allied and enemy Sojourn’s ult lines are so generic that I forget which is which.

Allies often say their ult voicelines with a “normal” voice, while enemies yell “FIRE IN THE HOLE!!!11!” or “FIRE AT WILL”

Sojourn tho…

At the moment, for me, its only Sojourn I get confused by. Everyone else is easily differentiated it seems.

Sojourns voice lines for her ult just have too close a feeling to them.

Of course, certain heroes who use English for both allied and enemy voice lines can soemtimes spook me. Especially when you’re used to Junkrat only being on the enemy team, for some reason.

Not really, if I hear an ult I just look at my team’s ult charge. Then I realize they won’t be ulting for at least another 4 mins.

I feel like enemy ult lines were louder in OW1 or allied ones were quieter. They are too similar in volume currently. Sojourn is a special kind of nightmare with how similar hers are.

It wasn’t a big problem in OW1 so you will get used to it quite fast (especially the ones that kills you)

Yeah, Sojourn is the only Ult VL I have problems with.

Everyone elses is fine, but hers seem a bit too similar for me. Ive gotten a little more used to it now, but every now and then it throws me off.
