Having an issue where randomly the game will boot me to the splash screen saying “LOST CONNECTION TO GAME SERVER” (I think, forgot the exact words).
I know my internet is fine since Discord is working fine, YouTube/Twitch is working fine, nothing else I am doing at the time of the DC has any hiccups.
Sometimes I’ll even get the red server disconnect symbol while everyone is still moving and interacting, but then after ~15 seconds I get booted again.
there could be a issue on your end like there could be packet loss on your end that may be only effecting your game sometimes it can be corrected by rebooting the modem/router
Yeah but it only happens in OW. I don’t even get 5% spikes in CS2 for example.
What region are you in? That would probably help people give you an accurate response. The issue might apply only to certain locations, and/or somewhere along the way there.
Are you usnt a VPN or some other service?
Are you Wi-Fi or Ethernet?
Do you have corn downloading in the background?
There could be dozen of things, i would double check as many that you know of.
Good point, forgot to mention that apologies. I play on gsg1 only pretty much.
VPNs make my ping increase by an order of magnitude so no
WiFi but I don’t have issues in other games, only OW
I stream everything other than games honestly
Yeah I don’t know anything that could be causing it, other than either an issue on my ISP’s end or on OW’s. I’m not a networking expert but I do know how to check/diagnose if something else is causing me issues.
Without going into complex stuff try restarting the router?

Yeah did that already, as well as Blizzard’s own guide on troubleshooting disconnects.
