I swear every season it’s the same feeling; they show off a bunch of cool skins that have a unique theme. Seeing those skins sparks a bit of excitement in me, but then reality quickly sets in, and then I realize that only a very small fraction of what they’re showing off is going to be in the Battle Pass, and the rest (usually the higher quality stuff) will be thrown into the shop.
Listen, I’m not someone who will ever pay $20 USD for a singular skin, so when they take all the content that I liked and would’ve grinded for and throw it behind an overpriced paywall, the entire season to me, especially seasons like this upcoming one with no new hero, feels contentless, and I just end up completely losing interest and end up just not playing the season altogether.
It just sucks… ;-;

I got the Lifeweaver cleric skin and would say money well spent.
Idk what it was but it just felt perfect.
Ofc it’s to each their own and I hope you find things in game you resonate with, be it paid or free.
Yep it drums up mild interest, I play a few games of the season and remember that gameplay hasn’t changed much. It’s still stale. It’s still 5 v 5.
I need a bottle of tequila and/or some edibles to enjoy playing this game for extended periods. Or at all.

I still have buyer’s remorse from spending $5 to unlock the Bullet for my Valentine Reaper.

No motivation to play the game when you’re capped at the amount of “rewards” you can earn. 600 coins isn’t enough to even get the battlepass, let alone one singular skin costing 1900 coins (if were being generous with which skin were getting).
It takes 4 seasons to get 1 skin for 1 hero. Each hero has like 20 skins and there are 40 heroes to go through. That’s 3200 seasons of grinding just to get all the skins that are available now, let alone the ones that will pile up from the 3200 seasons.
