Anyone else cant stand OW2, but playing classic non stop?

It’s just slower paced and a chiller vibe.

For the past week my group pretty much played OWC (no hero limit) something like two hours a day and more when everyone didn’t have work. It was the some of the best fun we had in the game in years.

Now that hero limits are back, we’ve basically played something like an hour and then it got unfun and we stopped playing altogether again. OWC reminded us why we thought it was so fun in the first place. Hero limits can be in the game, but they shouldn’t have just reinstated it one week after OWC was put back in.

It also reminded me why as the game aged, I began to hate playing it more. It went from a fun casual game to an eSport wannabe. They could have at least left 6v6 no-limit for the whole three weeks.

The devs just got to keep shooting themselves in the foot.

All I do is play the 3 rq challenge. Once I complete that I only play OWC.

Occasionally I may play death match.

But after playing OWC it is hard to return to 5v5. Especially if I have to play tank

I wouldn’t really call classic slower. Death is faster, but there are more players per team. Fights can either cascade into a super long drawn out bout as people die slowly and trickle in from both sides.

When an enemy team can gain all of their ults back pretty much off a single team wipe for everything costing less, I’ve certainly seen stomps happen back and only be broken by some massive ult hold until the end.

Nah, I’m playing regular QP now.

Yup. Pretty much just OWC. It’s just way more fun to me. I honestly have tons more fun trying to bust thru 2cp chokepoints than I do on any of the new modes in OW2.

There’s just something very satisfying about demolishing the defense on that first point. Like kicking down a door. The Overwatch I miss.

Havent played ow2 since owc came out, hero limits is fine with me. Get to play a tracer that can actually kill things alone. Dont even need a healer, things just die.

Hero limits was ok at the time in 2016 but this one single patch heavily reminds me of how blizz forces their hand on the gameplay.

Like, we get it. Its just annoying babystepping us into ow2. 1 hero limit…okay, now force 222…ok play the game they way you want us to play it…

I like 6dps and 6 winston and whacky comps. It has some flavor and i can play what I want without worrying.

Does 1 hero limit stop 6dps? No. Everyone still just picks widow hanzo mcree soldier genji etc. Only now, you must instalock to play the hero you want. Its really lame limit in a non-competitive mode supposed to be geared toward just fun.
