And thinking that RQ wouldnt replace Qp back then was an L take but look where we are now.

You can have your fun, but if it comes at the cost of the game bleeding alongside high queue times is where the fun needs to be managed. Hence why I said that it should be Arcade only and never the base for balance again.

Flex player here and I enjoy it. With the caveat its needs minor balance changes.

Zenyatta feels great to play again, with two tanks theres more combos and things you have to keep an eye on (plus its less stress) and dps gets to shoot at another target.

Overall its great.

I even got both Junoā€™s and even one of Hazards achievements while playing 6v6.

Same with Winston and Hazard.

Diving as those two feels great. Plus primal rage Winston can combo enemies in Hazards wall for massive damage and knock them back into another punch.

Hi, DPS here. 6v6 was always worse than 5v5 with far less fixable problems and this just proves it.

When Tanks have crit protection and only 10% of healing reduced, I didnā€™t feel Soldier was overtuned.

I actually prefer Ashe currently with the full Tank Passive. I have yet to test her in 6v6 format. Maybe sheā€™s very strong too but I feel she could have a little harder time to pick the right target.
Fact that Soldier can spray and has some spreadth allow him to shower everyone with the DPS Passive in few seconds.

Oh yeah, Ashe is great. Sheā€™s the best DPS in the game currently, so sheā€™s naturally going to feel better than her peers. So far, she seems very strong in 6v6 too. I do agree that sheā€™s more difficult and skillful than Soldier. :+1: When I say Soldier is overtuned, I mean mostly for the amount of effort he requires.

I donā€™t recommend this. Instead, pick one enemy thatā€™s being targeted by a teammate and help finish that kill. If your tank is fighting a squishy, I make them top priority. The faster that squishy dies, the less damage your tank takes, and the less strained your supports are since they wonā€™t need to pump as many resources into the tank. Focus fire is king in OW.

I like playing Ana more in 6v6, but i get flamed all the time for ā€œnot healingā€ when people dont realize that
A the dps passive got buffed massively and
B with two tanks, they gotta share the healing one tank would get.
I can literally go 85% accurate and deathless on Ana with the highest healing in the lobby and still get flamed and that just really makes me mad at the moment.

so they where afraid tanks would have to much fun in 6v6 so they just kept support and dps brokenā€¦

Iā€™m a flex player who mainly played off tank in OverWatch one, then they completely removed my role. So Iā€™m 1,000% enjoying this, and as soon as they remove it Iā€™m going back to marvel rivals.

The only thing that would actually make it better is if they were to revert the season 9 hitbox and health changes.

Oh and get rid of every role passive in the game

I havenā€™t played this patch yet, but from the comments on the forums it seems like a lot of tank players have forgotten (or are new and never knew) that tanks didnā€™t consistently score at the top of DPS numbers in every match in OW1. It would happen occasionally but it wasnā€™t the norm. It used to be that DPS did the most DPS.

Tanks in OW2 largely became glorified DPS characters and thatā€™s definitely not how things used to be in OW1 6v6. Tanks used to be about providing value through tanking.

Healing reduction decreased from 25% to 15%.
No longer has reduced effectiveness for tank heroes.

Depends on your tanks. Some tanks just require permanent healing and are still crit the entire match. Matchmaking issue idk.

Itā€™s kind of a waste of ults tbh. Why use 2 when 1 do job. Also with the DPS passive I donā€™t think itā€™s that necessary to break through defenses. In owc healing was nonexistent so a single grav just kills everyone anyway

Support and DPS have way less agency in 6v6 though I donā€™t really get what you mean. DPS + Support have less space to operate. Shooting more tank as dps and healing more as support.

Sure tanks are squishier and canā€™t as easily run you over, but tank attention was very valuable before and they can only be in one place at once. Still would rather have a giga raidboss tank than have a 2nd tank hyper enabling the other + 2 supports keeping them up.

it certainly isnā€™t garbage. Some tweeks and I think it could be a better experience than 5v5 and iā€™m not someone who was asking for 6v6 even.

Iā€™m a support main, but it keeps giving me tank for all roles. I have been having fun with JQ and others. I normally hate tank. All of support feels good for me. I only was able to play Sojourn on DPS, and she feels totally busted, thus fun.

I like it on every role. Itā€™s just right for me. Giga tanks ruins 5v5 for me.

You like tanking in 5v5 more because you donā€™t like having to have to think.

You like to just run into things with no risk.
You like being super tanked up so you can just mash buttons and run into the opposing team.

You like it because when you lose, you can just blame dps because itā€™s never the fault of a tank that never dies.

5 v 5 is/was/ and will forever be STUPID. Literally ruined the game. Impossible to balance. And if overwatch donā€™t go back to 6 v 6 permanently, and somehow return to 5 v 5 . . . .

This game is DONE.
