I’m done. I quit Overwatch. Sombra was the only character I played because she was so fun and versatile, but this is the last straw. Her playstyle was truly unique nothing like what you’d find in any other game.
Am I the only Sombra main who feels this way, or will some of you switch to other characters and keep playing?

Even thou Sombra killed me relentlessly in Season 12, I have sympathy for those who play her.
Bastion was one of my DPS Mains back in OW1 days. When OW2, I was devastated when his Ult got reworked. Same with Orisa’s Ult rework. Felt almost as bad as being betrayed by an ex-GF. I love OW2 but those 2 reworks always left a bitterness to the game for me.
And with Sombra’s recent Overnerfing, I feel for those mains out there. Its all too familiar again…
I am objectively better at Soldier, Reaper, and Junkrat so I play them when I want to win. But I hate playing them and don’t have fun in those matches. I suck at Sombra but she has always felt more fun to play so I play her when I want to enjoy my time and don’t care if I lose. Now I don’t know what to do.

Why do you venomous buffoons always do this?
How do you read that someone is bummed out by the change in playstyle and conclude, “ahh yes this person was carried by stealth” when the topic wasn’t about power or balance? It’s an entire play style shift. People are allowed to be bummed that it shifted and it doesn’t mean they were carried. And Sombra was bad before, there’s nowhere for anyone to be carried to.
Be so for real.

I know it’s hypocritical for me to say this, but take it from an angry person here: Some people relish in ‘the enemy side’s’ suffering. It’s not unlike politics. Tribalism is worse than it’s ever been. They cannot feel sympathy for those that they have demonized
nah heh but yea she got nerfed pretty bad. still i am having fun trying to make it work so far but most of the time im hiding lol
I doubt it. As long as they continue to allow you to throw the game by harassing a single player, I will always have a reason to play her on my alternative account.
Until her buffs next patch. And the cycle continues…
With Sombra’s stats, nobody was carried with her. It’s been that way the entire game. Sitting in invis too long was always a bad tactic and the only place that carried you is to the bottom of the mmr and WR pool.
There is no one who can stop the widow meta now. You will be begging for Sombra back when your pinned down by an unstoppable widow doom combo you wait.
Nah. I do not believe I will. I actually enjoy playing against both of them…
