Any normal people get beta access?

Obviously, I’m not a Twitch streamer or a “gaming journalist”, so I’m not guaranteed a beta slot. However, I don’t really see any posts on here by those who obtained beta access.

Have any normal people here obtained a beta key? If so… well… say so.

Of course not, they’re busy playing. Assuming they exist.

Probably not. It was a shady bait and switch to get all of our attention, and to force us to watch more Overwatch instead of getting to play it, like always. This is how the OW developers and Blizzard always treat the real players.

Check out the “Did You get into the beta” thread (Just scroll to the bottom), a bunch of people have confirmed that they got in.

Yes, we actually got a few forum players and random people getting the access and plenty of streamers haven’t received access yet (and the entirety of EU can’t play rn btw, Blizzard is working on it)

I am a player with over 4k hours, long time GM/Top 500 player, been playing since OW1 Beta, and been an active member of the community for over 6 years, and I got nothing. Nice.

Well if you don’t get in you can just watch a stream tomorrow for a few hours to get a key, so it’s no big deal really tbh.

Of course, but if you actually want to play the beta and you don’t receive and invite then it’ll be you only way

Looks like they are starting to go out, normal player here and just got mine.

It is guaranteed after four hours (From what I have heard anyway, based on what the more reputable people from our community post)

when does the beta end?

because if it ends on like tomorrow at night, then those who got the beta key from streams play for like, a few horus then get the boot

About three weeks long? I’m just saying this off memory though, could be wrong.
I doubt it’d be less than 5 days at least.
