Did they really say that? If they did, and especially if Kiriko was their idea of one, my fear is that they’re just going to make more and more heroes that are stupid impossible to kill.

Maybe not rez exactly, but some sorta no-aim healing. Which is fine, I just do not want anymore AoE healers.
Also think it’s gonna be a male support hero.
Sombra is also getting reworked at the same time.

Healer with an easy heal and a fiddly skillshot to damage. Look to the Medic in TF2 for clues, he was more highly regarded than Mercy is.

Honestly I don’t really see a reason against something similar to Sym’s old Teleporter returning

As much as I like using corpses as ammo in Diablo 2 and Dragon Age.
I think that’s just too far for OW2.
The line got to be somewhere.
Whatever it is it’ll be completely obnoxious to play against.

Alright, here’s the idea. A tank that has the ability to Reincarnate. After you die you have an E ability on a 30 second cooldown, that lets you choose whether or not to resurrect yourself. You also have a gun. Not like a fantasy gun, just a normal gun that kills people when you shoot them with it.
Save the tank ideas after the next 3 heroes

Teleporting a teammate to you.
Infusing a teammate with the ability to lifesteal.
Healing teammates around you by doing damage to enemies.

We need more omnic/bastion-esq characters.
Maybe like a mobile drone that flies around and periodically heals people or something, can go to healthpacks to absorb the pack and super charge it, then deliver it to whoever you want.
Able to grapple onto walls for quick mobility and vertical movement.
Not got many ideas for a good ult, I think we’ve got enough bonkers team-wide ults in the support role, so I’d probably make it more like Ana’s. Maybe something like a reflective barrier applied to a single person via the drone, like a suit or something. You’re attached to the target for the duration and able to provide support fire.
Or maybe like a symbiote-like character that can attach to a single person and boost them, kinda like Abathur from HoTS.

I don’t think that’s actually possible unless it was like Doomfist’s ult.
Going into wall becoming 2D might be possible.
But traveling though maps would encounter some likely bugs.
when they say more supports like Mercy, it makes me think they want to make easier to play heroes like her as recent supports like kiriko and baptiste can be quite hard for newcomers
