Anti-Stun/CC Support Hero Concept

Passive: Biotic Plasma (click me) tee-hee
  • Has five bar meter of plasma that is used for his primary fire and ability two
    • Passively recharges at 1 bar every half second after not using primary fire or ability two for one second
    • Can be manually charged, but you cannot hover with ability two
    • Takes 1.35 seconds to manually reload fully
    • walking speed reduced to only 40% while reloading
    • A manual reload heals for 80 health
    • Cannot use reload to heal if you have all five plasma bars already
Primary Fire: Plasma Cannon
  • Fires plasma beam from helmet that acts as Zarya's beam does, has range of only 9m
    • Does minimum 75 damage
    • Can be charged up to 75 damage per half second for up to 2.5 for a total of 375 damage
    • Cannot walk while charging
    • Uses 1 bar of plasma if you don't charge it
    • Uses max of 5 plasma bars if fully charged
    • If tried to fire quickly then it will be fire every .4 seconds
    • Even if fired with no charge the character will stand still for .1 seconds

Secondary Fire: Healing Harpoon Gauntlet
  • Harpoon Gauntlet that can be used to heal teammates or harm enemies
    • Has a 2m area of effect upon impact that heals for 30 hp/s
    • Does 30 damage per shot, or 20 if it hits with splash
    • Fires 2 rounds a second
    • Has 12 rounds
    • Passively reloads at 6 rounds per second after 1.5 seconds of no firing
    • Has the same travel time as Ana's standard hipfire
Ability One: Anti-CC Orb
  • Heals teammates for 80 hp, and provides 2.5 seconds window of protection througb 2 anti-CC orbs that revolve around the player for a total of .90 seconds of anti-cc
    • Upon being affected by CC each orb has an uptime of .45 seconds in which all CC in canceled for a total of .90 seconds of protection from any CC, however upon the running out of the 2.5 seconds the ability stops functioning even if in the middle of protection from an orb
    • Teammates take 35% less damage from CC, but all other damage is the same
    • Is cast on people similar to Brigitte's armor pack
    • Has 6 second cooldown
Ability Two: Plasma Jet
  • Shoots into the air using jet pack fueled by plasma
    • 2 bars of plasma shoot him into the air at 4/5 the height Junkrat can get with his mine
    • He can spend an additional three bars to hover in the air for up to three seconds (one second per bar)
    • While hovering they can only move horizontally at walking pace
    • Can charge their primary fire in this mode though the max you would be able to charge the primary fire is for 150 damage if you hover for only a second
    • Can use secondary fire in this mode
Ultimate: Performance Enhancement
  • All friendlies within a 5m radius are given 50% reduction to all cooldowns and 50% faster reloading for 6 seconds
    • It counts as a transformation ultimate to all characters
    • Continues affecting teammates even if they leave the radius around you, similar to how Brigitte's inspire works
    • If hacked or EMP'd then teammates will still be able to reload quickly, but won't be able to use their active abilities same as normal
Lore Vigtore Nielsen is a former agent of Overwatch that was part of the marine enforcement division. As a marine biologist and former navy man, he originally lead a war against the breaking of laws involving over fishing, man made islands and illegal dumping. He made a lot of enemies with corporations and corrupt government officials.

After Overwatch fell no one would fund his cause, and unable to sit back and watch everything he had dedicated his life to fall apart, he turned to the black market to fund his continued war against the brazen abuse of the sea.

Slowly losing his moral compass overtime, he has lent his skills in ocean navigation to help less than reputable organization transport all sorts of illegal shipments, and has been spotted in several violent incidents on sea and near coastal cities and towns.

The wider world doesn’t know of his true identity, and he doesn’t acknowledge his original name either.

He now only goes by the moniker H2Omen

His equipment consists of a specially designed military grade dive suit originally used by special forces of the Overwatch marine division. It has been augmented and had its overall appearance changed to be reflective black/blue.

He uses a specially designed helmet connected to a plasma pack on his back. This equipment was a prototype meant for use in underwater rescue and sabotage operations, but during Overwatch’s time it was never in working operation. H2Omen has since gotten the equipment functioning and has made alterations to it so it can be overcharged to shoot a sudden, violent burst of plasma from the front of the helmet to damage close range opponents.

Often having to save injured marine life, or the lives of his employers, he scaled down a biotic rifle schematic and enabled it for area of effect use. It has since gotten extensive modification to enable offensive use.

H2Omen’s current existence is seen by most people as a myth, but a few corporations, governments and security forces like Helix know of his existence, but refuse to acknowledge him for fear of him gaining a following.

He has been known to be affiliated, at least midly, with Talon. The extent of this relationship is unknown.

H2Omen is a support hero that specifically deals with protecting his teammates from CC/stuns. He would be an effective hero to run with say low mobility supports like Ana, Zenyatta, McCree, Torbjorn and heroes that don't have a way of easily escaping CC like Roadhog and Soldier 76.

He does decent healing somewhere between Moira and Lucio. He is a very flexible hero that can more than take care of himself.

To balance out the fact that his anti-CC ability is so strong for teammates he doesn’t have anti-CC ability for himself, but instead has a flying/hovering option that allows him to stay out of the range of most CC except for Roadhog’s hook and Orisa’s halt.

He has a high damage close range primary fire that punishes enemies who dare get too close for comfort. It can also be used for breaking shields or even a flying dive combo on unsuspecting enemies.

The ultimate is geared as a unique way to give support to teammates that isn’t heal based by improving reload and cooldown speeds. It’s an overall decent ability that has a large potential in both organized and disorganized play.

Me too, I think it would come in handy with a lot of characters who either have slow reloads and/or use up their ammo really fast.

IMHO - all character classified as tanks should have some limited resistance to stuns and boops

That anti cc sounds busted
You better make it so it cannot stack with any other ability

Problem with adding anti-CC is that it can pretty much make already bad characters like Mei and Sombra more irrelevant than they already are.

Sounds like he’s got a decent amount of CC for an anti-CC hero. And if this hero was OP then Overwatch would turn into a pure FPS and all the ability based heroes would be troll picks

This ability might be more problematic than good to be honest. Just imagine a Genji or Tracer who can’t be stunned.

This is why I’m against anti CC in general to be honest. It messes with heroes who relies in stuns too much and give power to those who’s should be the weakest to stuns.

He has no ability to stun, boop or lock the movement of enemies.

His close range ability is his primary fire:

Do you guys have a problem with Zarya’s bubble? Because this ability works similarly, except the character can still be damaged by all other abilities. This is just a limited version of Zarya’s bubble.

Zarya’s bubble lasts 1 sec and blocks against one shot usually or just sustained till it bursts and gives zarya more damage unless you don’t attack it

This ability heals and gives people 2 chances to block cc and it also is a damage reduction to teammates

They are 2 different abilities with the latter being inherently stronger

Incorrect, Zarya’s bubble lasts two seconds and blocks 200 total damage.

This ability lasts 2.5 seconds, gives immunity to CC just like Zarya’s bubble, but only reduces damage from CC by 35%. All other damage applies equally.

So, nothing stops Nano-blade now.

It would be a must pick counter.
Anti-cc is a trap.
