Im not going too talk in this thread about how his damage per shot is utterly obscene
U know how he can 1 shot almost every single damage or support character in the game
I mean it be nice if you could shield your supports from it but it does full damage too shields lol its just melts Sigma’s and Reins shields they gone in like 1.5 seconds or something

Or how his splash damage distance is way too high and precipitates the above problem and makes it even worse

Or how his ultimate not only is overpowered as hell but at the very least needs a much louder warning its being used I mean you can hear sigmas about too be used which is not even half as powerful as Junkrats from across the other side of the map

What I am going too talk about is the fact he is in every single game and you have too deal with all of the above crap! every single game I have too counter pick JUNKRAT every single game and With all of the above you would be mental NOT TOO PLAY him every single game or you know have a shred of integrity…

And im utterly sick of the sight of him hes sucking every bit of fun out of this game except for the worthless oxygen thieves that are playing him

Hes bad enough when uve got a moron playing him u know someone just sits at the back and just holds fire but when uve got someone playing who is actually good its just like ok game over.

Please for the love of GOD! Do something about it in season 2 or im done with this game

Tbh the only conclusion I can draw is that whoever is lead hero designer now is a junkrat player its the only thing that makes any sense

He can’t

His bombs only do 120 on a direct hit you have to follow it up with a mine to secure the kill which means it’s a combo not a one shot.

A character being annoying =/= broken

Stop being a nitpicky. I agree the character isn’t op just annoying (and stupid easy) but intentially being pedantic doesn’t really help.

Would you rather me say “haha git gud scrub, unironic SkIlL iSsuE.” I mostly agree with OP, going against a good spamrat sucks but he isn’t broken or op (he is not sojourn after all) I do think he shouldn’t have 2 mines though.

junkrat is overpowered and I hate him. This game is terrible. The devs deserve physical punishment for this atrocity. Bring back 2020-2022 OW1.

overpowered or not My opinion is the former however he is massively over used whatever the truth is and that in of itself is an issue that needs too be addressed.

They gave his projectiles an uncalled for size increase. Everything went down hill ever since. Revert that stupid buff and we will see from there

His ulti need a louder announcement aswell. much louder.

  • literally just stay out of his range, widow can do it anywhere on the map yet junkrat isn’t allowed do it in shotgun vicinity?
  • junkrat is a shield melter- that’s his job, if you are smart about shield use he’s much less of an issue
  • splash isn’t a problem- just stay away from the obnoxious yellow balls and the teammates currently charging into chokes guarded by him

junkrat is not in every single game, but you know who is?

  • sojourn can one-shot you anywhere, anytime, no fall-off and no real chance of getting away from her ridiculous mobility
  • sojourn can just jump over shields and even then, her primary fire does well to melt them
  • sojourn is hitscan, you aren’t dodging hitscan

can bliz give it up with all these pre-emptive junkrat nerf damage control posts and just admit their golden girl sojourn is busted?

This just isn’t true.

What? His ult is loud, but it can be hard to detect because of map structure. It is also one of the weakest ults if not used correctly, since you can kill the rip tire.

Great. Pick Pharah and obliterate him. Pick Zarya and max out your energy. Pick moira, keep your distance and melt him; if he get’s aggressive use fade. Or, you know, any other pick that can counter him or at least not feed him.

Over-used? If I didnt play junkrat myself, there would never be a junkrat in my games.
