Another forced loss streak because it looks bad to have +5 wins over losses

Is anyone else experiencing this? I have like maybe 4 wins in a row then I ghet placed with trolls, idiots, throwers, and leavers. This is making this game broken

If forced lose streaks exist, how is boosting possible?

Don’t say forced loss streaks but they specifically put you in games with potatoes to lower your wins that’s basically what it is. You either carry or you lose.

Because the people boosting are playing around 2000-4000 under their true SR so they can overcome it.

Because some boosters use Aimbot/other cheat programs. How do you think they guarantee your money’s worth?

Yeah, they guarantee your money’s worth by getting your account permabanned. Makes sense.

Did April fool’s come early or are people just day-drinking because it’s spring break?

If you are good enough, let’s say 1500SR above in real skill, the handicapping system cannot even out your individual effort. You are able to win even with two potatoes in your team. My guess is that there is a limit how much SR and MMR can be apart. Let’s say it’s 700SR. You’re at 2000SR but your MMR is 2700. To reach a matching average MMR the system will find other players with MMR higher than their SR to the opposing team and/or players with MMR lower than SR to your team. In this situation if you truely are just a good 2000SR player who’s real skill level is 2600 you will not make a large enough impact to overcome the handicapping. But if you are truely a 4450SR player it will not be an issue for you. This could make bronze to gm possible but it’s hard for a diamond level player to consistently win plat level games.

if you do just a little bit of homework you’d see a lot of those cheats go undetected. and if they do? so what, its not their account. more reason people who get boosted are dumb

You were expected to carry. It happens a lot when you are doing well and is the only way to rank up solo. If you can’t carry, you won’t climb solo, imo.

True, last night I been in comp, around 6 matchs.4 matches we had intense good balance game, everyone willing to flex depend on situation,we managed to win all those 4.suddenly on 5th match,I got 1 trick bastion that been countered so hard by enemy but still refuse to swap. And 6th match, all pick dps and said nothing, both lose. It’s like a punishment for winning before.

You’re about 3 years too late, people have been talking about this forever. Yes forced loss and win streaks are definitely a thing and only smart people can recognize it so congrats on that.

I’d say the smarter people can recognize where it’s all coming from

My main account is 7 wins 1 draw 16 loses.

My alt account is way better but at the moment 51 wins 34 loses 2 draws

My main account is a Masters and people are trolling, throwing and smurfing on alt accounts or are super bad damages now that GOATs is hardly played.

My smurf account is a diamond but I don’t play at a diamond level. I can get away with things I can’t do in my own rank. But people are throwing more games this season that ever before.

And yes, I am on a losing streak. When I break it. I go on a losing streak again. Or people cheat by leaving the game before the 60 seconds. I made a thread about getting rid of the 60 seconds.

Using aimbot below Diamond is nonsense. You can destroy people below with normal aim.

There is no such thing as forced loss streak. You simply had luck and won same games and reach harder elo for you. So every game where you will not have great team mates will be probably loss for you because you cant keep up. People who are talking about forced loss streaks are usualy just getting carried by others higher and when carry is not present they simply drop back, because they cant carry themselfs.

Hard to carry 1v6. If you have DPS with no aim you might as well count it as a 20-30 SR loss.

I have seen a total of 2 aimbotters during my entire Overwatch playtime (roughly 1700h), and both of those were in a group at ~3300SR in comp.

Any DPS player with master and upwards mechanics will easily climb at low ranks, they don’t need aimbots for that. You’d be far more likely to see an aimbotting player at 4000 than 2500.
