They are seriously nerfing D.va again. Honestly I’m so done with this game.
Nerfing her Dm from 15 meters to 10? Why is she gettting another nerf, let alone a nerf to her ability to tank. She’s already the worst at being a tank in the game. She’s effectively 300 health since half her mech is critical hit box. She’s a massive target that feels like your mech is made out of paper mache. We see threads all the time about how she is heal sink that almost requires a dedicated healer on her own, along with complaints about her mech feels like cardboard. She has plenty of counterplay in this game already that can keep her from doing anything.
She can’t tank. She can’t properly dps. What the hell do you devs want with her? I’m so sick of nerf after nerf after nerf. Especially when they are so uncalled for. Nothing about her stats say she’s too strong.
This balance is pure incompetence and lack of understand of the game. Instead of actually putting effort to create a new hero to compete with d.va. You keep nerfing her. She has felt worse and worse to play everytime y’all touch her. I want d.va to be a actual tank again. She feels like absolute crap to play and she’s about to be worse. Take that for feedback blizzard…

15th in damage… (with almost 5000 less damage than zarya!!!)
Tied with zarya damage blocked. Both are only a third of reins as a reference.
But supposedly her and dm are sooo op? Get out of here. And stop scapegoating of why you can’t learn to play around a hero with a tank ability that only lasts 2 seconds and has 2 second widows for you to use your ult. If d.va ate your ult that’s on you for stupidly throwing your ult at her and not taking advantage of the clear window that was designed for you …

Bruh. Her DM could shut down literally any projectile ult. Reaper ult? Nah. Barrage? Nah. Tac visor? Nah. Bastion ult? Nah. Bob, Hanzo, Grav, Mei? Yeah ok. On low cooldowns as well. She also shuts down reaper, because if she just dms his shots, he’s so easy to kill.

What do you think tanks do??? Bubbles and shields deny just as much if not more. It’s been gone over a thousand times. That’s a dead excuse. It lasts 2 second and has a 2 second window. If it gets eaten that’s on you for making a stupid play.

DM is essentially shield and bubble on steroids. Bubble and shields break, DM does not. 2 seconds is quite enough time to eat pretty much anything. The ability makes 0 sense and is quite overpowered.

It lasts 2 seconds! It doesn’t need to break! It expires faster than a orisa or rein shield… it’s not overpowered you are just bad at the game. I have had zero issues with dm. If it’s so amazing why is her damage blocked crap?

But it does way more. Shield won’t block Grav, dragons, or blizzard. Not to mention, she’s an off tank, so why should be able to make pretty much all these ults useful?

aka a generalist hero getting what it deserves. It happened to Mercy too.
A hero who can fit decently well into any map and any composition shouldn’t also be exceptionally good at anything.
Not to mention she still hard counters almost every ability in the game.

It’s honestly ridiculous. She had a lower pick and winrate to Zarya in league and a lower pick and winrate to Hog on ladder. Why does she need nerfs now? She already the lowest single team and match winrate of all the GOATs heroes. And that comp is dying anyway.
She’s the only generalist off-tank and the only one with vertical mobility. Of course she’s gonna get used a lot. Instead of nerfing D.va, they need to just add more off-tanks.

Maybe they can balance this out by converting some health to armor or something.
DM is too powerful and holds the rest of her kit hostage, or should have (when she was way overpowered). Remember as an off tank she really isn’t supposed to have a very good mitigation ability.
