I don’t know how people can actually play this game. The 2 person dev team can’t even keep up with the amount of bugs and balancing issues. But the community keeps funding them by purchasing their recoloured awfully pixilated skins.
When there is a balance update it’s literally nothing that the community asked for or what any of the champs need. The hog rework was a complete waste of resources and Mauga’s class design came from the depths of 2018.
The fact that smurfs don’t get punished and there is still no word on an actual functioning ranked system is hilarious.
This game isn’t fun people. You just are scared to quit because you spent money on crappy skins and you don’t wanna leave because your mercy pocket will get lonely.
No. I don’t want to quit because I still have some hope that at one point the devs again get more to say about the game than the suits that only see numbers.
It’s not much hope… just enough to keep the game installed.
Oh, and because I hate myself and this game is the best way to punish myself. That’s also a huge part about that.
Seriously and people keep holding out for OW2 thinking it’ll get better, WAKE UP! It’s not going to get better, we’re in season 8 and it’s only gotten worse and worse.
Even now with broken mauga, backfill bug, bad servers and this ridiculous leaver penalty people are STILL playing and paying. Blizzard knows this is just a cash grab that hapless fools will continue to invest into.

Just bring up Bobby, and we all know he doesn’t leave for another 2 days, and none of them here will speak up and talk about how big of a creep he is. and that this game should have been fully boycotted, for what disgusting things he has done. yet they still stood there playing this game, and still supported him.
AAA Corporate Game Dev structure really did convince the succeeding generation of gamers that scummy cash grab skin sales was the ultimate future of gaming.
You know, I hadn’t considered that. It really has gotten worse since the early seasons. 8 is easily, no, by far and away the worst season so far. The WORST. Lazy, half baked, broken. A joke.
Indy game companies consistently produce better games than AAA companies despite having a fraction of the budget. Games like OW only survive because of holdover players from when the devs were competent and are only playable because of aspects of the game retained from when the people designing the game were competent.
I take back everything I said earlier about it being a team comp choice issue more than the MM that is problematic. My last 4 games have been complete stomps again what seemed to be new players. Every game a straight walk from start to finish on push and payload. Boring af to play. My team stomped each time and now I just got a game with a masters in it (I’m prob silver) so the stomps have ended!

The fact that, seven years on, people still don’t understand Blizzard has a financial incentive to allow alternate accounts is wild. You know when this problem gets fixed? I’m gonna be real with you dawg, never.
Tried Apex for a long time. I thought the battle royale aspect was what I didn’t like. When they released other game modes I realized that I did not like the game itself.
Valorant/CS is to boring for me. Fortnite, BattleBit, COD not my thing.
But I play other games too. OW is not my life and I do not take it seriously
