Anniversary Loot Box Question

So in the past, during events there have been two separate drop rates for event legendary items, and non-event legendary items. This is a good system, this way you don’t have your legendary drop wasted on something like a Steambot Bastion that is available all the time.

But now, with all of the items from 11 prior events being made available all at once, the question is, will all of the event legendary items be grouped under the same drop rate? Or will there be a separate legendary drop rate specifically for Anniversary items?

If every event item is all part of the same drop pool, there’s a good chance this whole event will soon become very frustrating, as the odds of getting the new legendary skins will be much lower than they ever have been before. I sense that Blizzard could get hit with some pretty significant backlash on this, unless they clearly separate the new legendaries from all the old ones.

I’m holding off on buying any event boxes until they clarify this. There would be almost zero chance of getting current/new event skins if they have a few hundred skins all in the same pool.

I would imagine they would have to have separate drop rates, otherwise things would be to hectic and forums would probably get a lot of posts about it. Hopefully we get an answer soon, I’m also pretty curious about it.

I’m sure Blizzard wouldn’t want to miss out on selling a ton of loot boxe$
