I think the competitive rank icons are a downgrade from Overwatch 1. Aside from not appearing in the hero portrait, which gave you a sense of pride in your rank, the Diamond, Master, GM, and t500 icons aren’t even animated with the glow they used to have. It feels like a really easy change that would give a little bit of polish to your profile. Seems really small and stupid but is just another thing I miss about the old game compared to current state.

To top it all they unnecessarily shifted colors and icons around. The new silver icon is shaped like the old gold one. Why even do that?
