Ana’s sleep dart doesn’t cancel Sigma’s ultimate

I am of the belief this is a bug in the game. When Sigma rises up for his ult and is slept by an Ana dart, his ultimate still completes and does damage to the enemy team. This couldn’t be intentional, could it?

I just found this out myself and thought the same thing. His Ultimate is channeled and he goes to sleep when hit, but the effect continues. Seems broken, imo, but would like to hear from Blizzard one way or the other.

Yes yes… I see.

Sleep the ulting zarya and the grav should go away. Shouldn’t it?

When affected by the ult it’s normal for you to still take damage after he is slept. Same goes for if he’s killed. This is really not a bug but rather intentional.

That comparison is flawed as their ults function is very different ways. Sigma channels and controls his ult. Zarya is Ron Popeil (set it and forget it).

Well yeah i could have used a better compared it a bit better.

See it as sleeping the Lucio after he ults, his team is still going to gain barriers after he has affected his teammates.

Same applies to Sigma, if you ult and hit someone with the first stage of his ult (Lifting the player up) that means the effect will continue. Even if he sleeps

But isn’t Sigma controlling gravity himself? Without Sigma’s input, surely gravity would go back to normal?

With Lucio’s sound barrier, he creates those barriers with his gun, an animate object that can’t be stunned or interrupted.

The animation is just a mere add-on for effect, it’s meant to be like this because otherwise his ult would be the easiest to counter.

You should see symmetra flying in the distance then slamming down after she teleported out of its circle yet the effect still continues!

Its hilarious, twilight zone level

Her sleep dart also doesn’t stun symetra’s ult even if sym gets hit an instant before pressing Q. Some stuns just genuinely do not stop certain ultimate’s.
