Ana might be a must pick even in low elo

I hate to say that even in mid gold ana is creeping up as a must pick. Her anti nade is no joke

At least on PC it’s easier for people to be GOOD with Ana when they pick her

people below high gold like, pick ana and then have like 2k healing done in a 15min game.
it puts me in pain.

IN GOLD??? that is historically moira and mercy territory. Gold is hardly the “gold standard” for mechanics

Her win percentage is also pretty garbage in gold… She has a 47% W/L, she’s not a must pick, just good but gold’s don’t know how to play her. It’s like how Genji was good in higher Elo because people knew how to play him, but in gold people want to but don’t know how to. She’s meta, but not a must pick

So they will git gud or lose. I stick with Mercy and Moira since I can get work with them (I mean, I maintained around a 55% win rate with Mercy this season) but Ana is my 3rd most played hero in QP and I want to play her more. But everytime I do, people want me to switch because “no mechanics in Silver”.

The best way to get better with mechanics in a low Elo, is literally just get better settings. Actual skill will come with time. Turn off mouse acceleration, know your eDPI. Go from there. It’ll get you far

Oh for sure! I’ve been working on it, and my aim isn’t awful for a Mercy main. I do better with Ana when im playing with friends though. It’s always fun when I can’t even pick her because “Mercy main”.

Look at an aiming guide. And I switched from a mercy main to an Ana main, over the past few seasons I’ve gotten higher than I ever did with mercy. Went from consistent mid-high plat to high diamond low masters, just focus on not being a heal bot. I don’t get as aggressive as I could

Ana in low elos just play front line trying to dps. Occasionally they heal tanks but other than that they do not do very much. When it takes you 10 seconds to land a heal shot on a close teammate ana prolly not the best pick.
