- “Tanks don’t need cover. If I go behind cover as a tank, I’ll get killed.”
Cover is a fundamental part of this game. Your problem is that you don’t know how to use it. For the record, any character will get killed if they stand in the open and only start running for cover after hitting low HP. The key is not to stand in the open in the first place. If you’re playing aggressively and pushing the enemy while ignoring everything, your team should have an advantage. If it doesn’t, then you’re playing incorrectly.
- “Ana shuts down Hog and Mauga.”
That just shows how poorly designed those tanks are. Huge hitboxes with no self-sustain abilities? That’s a design flaw. The game shouldn’t allow big “sacks of potatoes” that can’t do anything but shoot to feel comfortable. It’s toxic for the game itself because such characters break the balance.
- “Ana stands 10 meters away, lands a nade on a low HP tank, and finishes them off.”
Can the tank think strategically? The tank was at full HP, and there’s an Ana 10 meters away. Why aren’t you targeting Ana? Why aren’t you baiting or blocking the nade? Why don’t you retreat before your HP gets so low that you’re vulnerable to a nade kill?
You’re hitting your skill ceiling and looking for someone to blame. Use your brain, please. Don’t embarrass yourself.
