Ana is still blatantly OP

R u srs, did she actually have a 95% winrate

Do you mean only cleanse effects or are you counting immortality? With immortality pretty much any time someone gets low and in dangerous position it’s worth to Suzu.

If only cleanse then mostly ults. Mei, Rein, Queen, Orisa, Illari, Sombra. Sometimes it’s worth to cleanse Ashe TNT if it’s fat to deny ult charge and help fight back faster.

With immortality… pretty much anything and any ult. So many ults gets denied completely by Suzu if you time it right. Save people from grav, D.Va bomb, ruin blade, escape from Dragon, buy time to kill Tire or Death Blossom etc.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.

When I, a Junkrat OTP, can start playing the supposedly high skill hero Ana and climb to high masters with absolutely zero effort in a little over a week then the hero is busted.

I’m a bad support but it doesn’t matter when the hero brings so much value with every part of her kit and with very little counterplay. She can just do too much too well and absolutely needs nerfs.

Rez wasn’t an E ability at launch, so: no?

Nade can only be purged on friendlies by Zarya bubble or suzu and sleep can only be ended prematurely by an allied Kiriko via suzu.

I’m not saying Kiriko and suzu were SOLELY designed to counter Ana, but the final product was almost certainly considered with her in mind.

I’m still waiting for the replays proving how blatantly OP Ana is

I never saw a replay till this day from anyone who claims Ana is OP and so easy proving that Sleepdart and Nade just totally controls the game and are super easy to land and have nearly always high impact

I mean yeah, if youre making a cleanse ability you consider what it can cleanse as a dev. But yall were making it out ti be like kiriko was designed to counter Ana which is a leap

Yea the game should be only balanced around your winrate. Sounds like a great idea.
Especially when you only played 15 games on Kiriko and 24 games on Ana this season.

I’ve been making this suggestion for years, as a support main myself, I know just how oppressive that nade is.

I think it should be changed so that there’s a threshold of healing that needs to be done to remove the nade effect. Make the debuff last longer, but make it so healers can “dispel” the debuff by healing like 200-400 HP worth. Balance it of course but it’s better than just outright making the nade so oppressive that tanks NEED a Kirko to survive.

ana main here . i also think that a change to her kit is whats truly needed , instead of a simple nerf

both the nade and dart are waay stronger then most other abilities in the entire game

i was talking with a friend about a change for ana , the idea was to split her nade in 2 new ones, one that heals and one that deals dmg and gives the anti effect , and you would have the cooldown start after ea one

you dont have 2 nade charges alr ? you have 2 different nades and you choose which one to use . meaning that you can only have one effect at a time , with a cooldown inbetween

edit this could also continue to change her kit by adding more nades with small effects , like a speed boost one , another with some cc and so on.
and have them all on a tab that you scroll thru by tapping e and if you hold it you throw the nade

making the entire ‘nade’ side of her kit ‘weaker’ but also more versatile .
idk . i think this would make the nade not as cancer to play against but still keep the character fun and ‘bat man’ like with all her different gadgets

Kiriko’s bauble is specifically designed as an Ana counter with other uses.

Much like Brig was specifically designed as a Tracer counter with other uses.

I think both are fairly similar circumstances–both are heroes the devs refused to nerf, and instead threw in “counterpicks” to try and make it okay.

Not trynna be a hater but think about this for a second…

If everyone is picking her, half of the people picking her have to lose

You’re already staying silver. If you check my title you can see him high plat/low diamond, which if you were better you would already be at, and I’m not even good. High plat low diamond is the definition of slightly above average at best

I am better, I just don’t play Overwatch :man_shrugging:

can you make an actual statement instead of these half assed “but…but mercy!!1!”.

Doubt, I play comp twice a week on a good week and I’m still high plat low diamond.

that makes you exceed my total hour playtime in about few months already

I’m still wondering, what problem do you have with Ana?

All ranks are important, but I believe what you are saying about statistics, I would say that even diamonds don’t matter, as there was an inflation in ranks, diamonds don’t say anything anymore. Honestly, in my games and in the games I see, ana is not being used, I see more Bap/lucio/Illari, and generally the team that has Ana ends up losing, but I don’t think she is weak, just the Meta makes her less effective and makes other supports more effective and it seems to be true, because her numbers are falling.

Not about the role, but about everyone, 5v5 changed a lot, it changed the way of playing and support, which was already strong, became stronger, indispensably strong, for now.

Yes, but I’m specifically saying that whenever you change a support, complaints about another appear. Since the beginning of Ow2, I think it was, Kiriko, Mercy, Zen and now probably Bap or Illari will be next, I don’t believe Ana is in line shooting, although I see a lot of complaints, as the meta has changed, it will become less visible

That wasn’t a valid argument, because it wasn’t one, it was a contestation.

After many statements like this, it is easy to say that you have already made up your mind, and No matter the argument, you will counter argue with anything, because you just want to be right, even if it doesn’t make sense. which is a waste of time for both of us, so I don’t think there’s anything else to answer you.

Ana has consistently been complained about since the start of OW2 and has consistently been top of the meta, except for Kiriko on release (who was later nerfed fairly harshly.)

I don’t think it’s fair to say Ana complaints are some FOTM since she’s been a problem this entire time.

I wonder why you quit, couldn’t be because of how long you’ve been in the same elo or anything
