Ana like any other healer has her own unique kit and a capacity to heal at a good rate, on paper she has the second highest healing rate per second.
Her abilities give her the capacity to prevent damage before it happens and deny healing to enemies, allowing your team to focus on a particular target.
The best thing to do as a Ana player is to remain hidden from the enemy but not from your team your ranged healing will give you the flexibility to position yourself effectively, if your positioning restricts your view of your team be sure to tell your team so they can move within sight of you or move else where.
“The ghost watches”
When you are with your team and you or another healer needs to boost their
healing rate use your Biotic grenade to add healing and increase healing rate,
this can also be done with healthpacks.
Her sleep dart is a life saver and a killer when used in the right hands when timed right it can find the weakness in the enemies defence saving your team from the enemies attack and in turn make the enemy vulnerable to being attacked, when you are confident in your abillties you can broaden the use of the sleep dart to be more effective whilst keeping it reserved.
“Need someone to tuck you in?”
Ana’s ultimate ability has a very diverse use from boosting a team mates ultimate to sustaining a team mate on the point when ever a team mate needs that extra boost of power a nano boost will supply it, your judgement as to when and where its given is critcal.
Ana’s positioning is truly a strong asset you know when your doing well as Ana when you dont die in a match being the ghost of Overwatch, think ahead of the flankers and reposition where ever possible.
You may not have Fade, wraith or invisibilty but if you know how to position yourself away from the enemies eye’s who needs it?
