So on console overwatch theres a button for push to talk but that is a really ineffective way to play the game and playing games like CSGO it’s easier to play the game with open mic and just mute yourself constantly and press unmute for whenever you need to talk. So is it possible for the devs to also add a toggle mute button?
In the PC version, there is a mute mic button (default keybinding M). I am not intimately familar with the customization of keybindings for console version of Overwatch but I suggest reviewing all options in Options > Controls. To see if such a option exists to assign a button to.
Some recent input: no, there is not a toggle mute button in any of the console settings. Though there is usually a mute button on console headsets, this may not always be the case. This would be a great little QoL change to add and would improve a lot of players experiences
