What’s the deal with this. It shows up in the hero gallery but only if you add the filter for the based Overwatch items. It doesn’t have the shop or battlepass tag, it appears to be her base epic skin, but you can’t buy it right now. Odd

Nice find - if it’s unlockable with credits, I’ll be equipping it for sure. Would also be nice if it’s tied to a challenge.

When I heard “eclispe” I expected some celestial themed cool skin. Instead of that - it has basic colours and ugly mask

I am very disappointed in the amethyst because it has too much diamond shaped patterns like all over her…
And i really like her cape in the eclipse skin too

Ok, we clearly have a different taste.
I think it’s really lame they don’t launch heroes with the same amount of base skins as OW1 heroes. It’s almost definitely to encourage shop purchases, but we went from heroes launching with 4 recolors (blue skins), 2 epics, and 2 legendaries with 1 recolor each. Now we get the 4 recolors and 1 legendary with a recolor.
At least the first few OW2 heroes had 1 epic too, but Weaver and Illari don’t even get that (Weaver had Cassia as a free challenge skin, and we’re waiting to see what Amethyst ends up being for Illari).
Illari already has her best skin at least until her Mythic is out and that is Llama Pajamas. Nothing comes close to it.

THIS! While i do think ither skins can be equal as good lmao, the best skin doesn’t ALWAYS have to be the mythic one…

I just saw it and oh boy its a good epic skin! Really great coloring! But I also think that it will be an Twitch drop or an event skin. Otherwise, it would have a shop symbol on it.
I just went to check it out too; it’s so GOOD. I love the colors, pattern, and the butterfly thing on her head too 
But this also made me realize another thing: counting this skin, EVERY single hero released in OW2 has a “base game” epic
Except for Lifeweaver
(EDIT: OK, I see he had an epic for his launch event, and it says it’s “also available in the Hero Gallery”, but it doesn’t appear when filtering only “base game” cosmetics and can’t be bought)
I want to know how to get it too, so hopefully someone figures it out.
Or prehaps they just forgot to include it in Illari’s launch event? Lifeweaver’s launch event had an epic skin too.
Something similar happened with Valentine’s Day event when completing one of the challenges supposed to unlock an emote for Kiriko. The reward was bugged during the event and players didn’t get the emote at that time, but luckily it was given afterwards after a patch.
