Round a corner dead. Stick with my team dead. Team fight dead. Hide dead. Wait for team dead. Do people miss anymore? Have shooters been around long enough to make a large group of people aim bots with skill?
I am fine with not being good but you die fast in this game like counter strike fast. I played ow when it first came out dont really remember much but wow. Got to silver 2 support cant even win 7 games as dps lol.

Deaths are definitely supposed to happen more frequently in OW2, with 2 tanks and supps it’s easy to force people not to die. But with tanks being less protective and working alone, preventing or slowing down deaths is a lot harder now
If you wanna stay alive, in many situations, it’s now up to the individual player to stay alive. Avoid walking in the center of streets or big hallways, avoid walking in a big cluster with your team if you can’t all scatter when meeded, abuse corners and high ground, and don’t play 30 miles from your team either
Best way to play OW2 in many situations is to find a part of the map and see how you can mold it to your advantage. Say you’re on the new Esparanca map, and you’re Junkrat. You could stick near your team to push and defend the bot, OR you could go to the several balconies and such to pepper damage from above the enemies while moving around so they don’t kill you
What this does is force the enemy to either wipe your team really really fast, roll over and die to you because they’re not paying attention, or divide their power to deal with you. That can be a huge advantage if you separate and enemy or two from the main fight and then kill them, because now with less damage you can play a bit bolder with your positioning
You’ll win a lot more games that way, even if you’re on support having this knowledge of what players are doing and why will help you learn the flow of a fight better, and once you can read fights support is much more powerful
