mind you, im all for supporting youtubers but when they… start to spill false information or bias i dont know what to say.
i feel if i post this in any competitive forum outside here the post will just get deleted for posting something stupid but i wanna know, if you actually agree with this person or not. because i feel the title should be corrected to “my most hated 3 heroes” rather than establishing them as heroes who hold this title for a long while.
and even so some of the rants dont even make sense, its like they dont know any of the counters of the hero that can just ignore what hes mentioning yet he still proceeds to overblow the power level in his descriptions. for those are high ranked in competitive, is any of this true?
I’m not gonna watch the video, because I’m currently watching Spilo’s Echo section in his massive DPS guide. But there’s a few heroes that I can see being universally hated, either due to their current or past states. Sojourn, Widow, Sombra, etc. are all pretty hated because with two you can get deleted before doing anything and with another your abilities are locked out. Ana is obviously universally hated or really close to it, no need to explain that.
The only hero I can think of being able to be universally hated without it being a skill issue or a personal issue is Ana. Everyone else is gonna be really subjective, and who you hate is directly based on who you main. For example, a Tracer main like myself hates Torb. But a Bastion main would hate Tracer in the same way. I don’t think it’s possible to make a “most hated characters” video because of this.
Cause each at one point in time either caused or were a large part of some of the most hated metas. The dark age bringers.

Honorable mentions to characters that just had obnoxious/hated designs independent of power level: Hog, Ball, Doom, Sombra, Widow, Mei, Zen, Ana.
Not that I agree with all these picks cause I think some of them were blown out of proportion, but I think that’s what I’ve seen the community complain about a lot over the game’s life.
I think it’s hilarious as well, but I only hear my teammates complain about the enemy tank as soon as they’re on Orisa. Mauga? Nope. Hog? No. Doom? No.
They always cry when someone swaps or starts on Orisa.
Most annoying heroes is very subjective IMO, everyone has a differing opinion on it, for me it’d be:
Pharah due to hard forcing you on hitscans and echo to even deal with her.
A good illari because she basically controls the flow of the match at that point and trying to contest her in a duel is suicide.
Widow/Hanzo because even if Hanzo is one of my main DPS heroes nothing feels as frustrating as being instantly deleted in one shot especially when said player is consistent.
Moira, not against her but with her as the other support. I main Kiriko and she has the worst synergy with her along with just not bringing anything good to the table 80% of the time I lose when she is on my team.
Wreckingball when he is good, dear lord do I not like being pinballed around all match and having to switch the team comp to full on CC.
I honestly think if I could delete any character in the game, it’s going to be Genji every single time from now to the end of time.
His Blade gets way too much benefit from him getting nanoed compared to basically any other hero.
His deflect is the dumbest crap because oh, you were about to kill him? Well too bad, now you can’t touch him unless you have one of the like 4 people who no one really goes that often. And not only does it make him nigh invulnerable, it also is the only thing in the game to turn your own weapon against you.
His wall climb and double jump allow him the most mobility of any hero beyond maybe Lucio and Pharah.
And why for the love of God does dash go through EVERYTHING? The only way to stop it, the ONLY way, is complete invulnerability. Or to magically stun him in the very small fraction of a second after he presses the button- oh no, he’s already through you. Too bad. Who thought it was a good idea to let him dash during deflect too, by the way? Why is that fair?
I don’t care about Mei, most matches just end up with the whole team surrounding her ice block waiting to kill her. As for Sym, you go Pharah and laugh at how quickly she switches off.
