Unlike most heroes, you must have permission from your team to play Sombra, Symmetra, Bastion or Torbjorn. Otherwise you will rack up negativity throwing points and get banned if you do it too much.

I play sombra all the time. I have never gotten. Actioned, silenced, or banned. You people must be doing something wrong then

just dont play comp…

thats just general advice…not torb specific…its become (or maybe it always was) a cesspool of ignorant, whiny, hive mind tryhards that care way too much about a number…and torb will absolutely make it worse

You’ll get banned because Blizzard’s GMs for some reason forget that player can play whoever they want.

Well you can play what you like to, but might not be what the team wants. Torbjorn isn’t locked out when picking teams, and under the right situations and good team comp, Torb can be pretty good. just Torb has such a negative stigma surrounding him people will automatically assume thrower when picking Torbjorn. I do like the free armour packs out of spawn though. Really helps Zen/Zarya mains out!

I would say play at your own risk, especially in comp.

You cant sadly, high chance of being reported and suspended for mass reports. Not fair.

You can pick whomever you want, but you need to be prepared to deal with the ramifications of your decisions, good or bad. They have a right to criticize if you make a bad pick that’s just the way it is. i.e. If your whole team is setup for a Dive comp and you choose Turdbjorn be prepared you might get flamed. One of the DPS in my group always wants to wheel out Turdbjorn and sometimes he does, it’s cool cause he knows how to use him.
