Alt-f4 Verification

Can you guys sdd Alt-F4 Verification to overwatch 2 please, I tend to make quick judgement out of anger sometimes and pres alt-f4 even though I do not mean to. So it would be nice if you guys added a verification before closing the game. It is super punishing to have to wait the penaulty timer because of a stupid quick judgement.

You cant Alt F4 without actually meaning to.

Why add something in when you should instead learn to control your rage over a video game…or don’t and just take your lumps when your rage makes you leave the game.

That is controlled by Windows. Blizzard can’t change Alt-F4 behavior, but there are some third party programs you can google that claim to deactivate it.

Also, note that if you ā€œDCā€ too many times, you will be banned from competitive.

if you alt f4 constantly that’s you having anger problems and not being able to handle something. They shouldn’t have to put in a prevention method for you to stop, learn to not do it.

lol…thats not on blizz

I’ll be honest that I sometimes don’t think through my reactions when I am angry. I am a sensitive person and might even get therapy in the near future (I’m also 14 and my prefunctal cortex hasn’t fully developed so it’s hard to think before acting).
I find that it helps a ton just to take a break and go outside or something. I usually walk to the gas station or CVS by my house and get a snack. Also make sure to get at least 7 hours of sleep (may vary among people) before playing, and it can even affect your performance.
As for the alt + f4 part, Blizzard can’t really do anything about that, and you will need to use some third-party app to solve it. You could even put some cover over your f4 key that fits over it and stops it from being pressed, if you don’t trust random third-party apps.

Also thanks for being an honest human being that actually admits when they have anger issues, people like you give me faith in humanity.

Hi Blizzard, I’m physically incapable of being responsible for my own actions. Would you mind removing another layer of body autonomy from me? Thanks.
