Allow legacy skins to be purchasable

At a rate of 10k per skin

That way, legacy skins can be acquired by those who have everything unlocked but have 60k credits,

10k are way too easy to get imo.
100-150k seems to be more realistic for the chance to get a legacy skin.

Also some skins should be excluded (like Noir Widow, Pink Mercy and BlizzCon skins).
When it comes to OWL skins (Legendaries and Team Skins) it would probably still have to be bound to OWL tokens.

Maybe make it the usual token price + a bunch of credits for them?

The premise of Legacy is literally that it’s limited time and you cannot purchase them again.

I missed out on the pre-order skin for Widowmaker, but c’est la vie.

Allow league tokens to be converted to and from normal credits

That would reduce the incentive to buy tokens or watch OWL, so I doubt that will ever happen.

Yeah I find it weird that they’ll just be forever locked away, especially if the game gets new players who had zero chance to obtain the skins in the first place.

Granted I don’t care much for cosmetics myself and current sitting on 110k coins and about 40 unopened loot boxes.

25 credits per token

That would allow me to create about 8000 OWL tokens right now.

It would lose them a lot of money and OWL viewership so they simply have no reason at all to do this.

so what about 250 per token

No.

What is the point of being legacy if going to bring them back?

Welcome to pretty much every game that had limited time cosmetics.

Skins like Noire Widow or Pink Mercy should stay legacy, however story skins such as Marammat, Bastet etc should come back either as archives skins, for special events, or for character specific achievements. Note that those skins were never written to be “limited only” so there’s nobody being “screwed over” if they return.

With OW2 focusing heavily on story it doesn’t make sense to keep these super important skins locked away. They’re progressing the story of these heroes.

PER??

You trying to bankrupt me??! :open_hands: :open_mouth:

Better yet, how about if we could unlock something that was just truly bonkers-level amazing for, say, a “mere” 100k credits. An extraordinary reward, only for the truly dedicated. (and I’ll take two, and bank the rest, thank you very much )

Alternatively, I would be completely fine with Blizzard upgrading our in-game currency and turning it into full-fledged, transaction-capable cryptocurrency. That way, everyone can truly be a winner, just for playing! And who knows? We might be able to even out-meme Dogecoin! Just imagine having the outside world come in and start investing in the new “Blizzcoin” even if they don’t play! As an added bonus it would even help lure in some of these investors as new players—which translates to more games and DLC sold, more income for Blizzard, and larger player population for their games—and shorter queue times for us in Overwatch (a huge win for us all!)

So make them like $10 a skin instead.
