ALL STAR Main event needs to be this

so i believe the All star event needs to be the top 12 players Atlantic vs Pacific play each other and best 3 out of 5

Top 2 main tanks players (reinhardt)
Top 2 Off - tanks players (dva)
Top 2 Hitscan DPS players (zayra)
Top 2 flex Dps players (Brigitte)
Top 2 Flex Supports (zen/ana)
Top 2 Main supports (lucio)

and blizzard should check by stats wise who has most kills, healing, damage blocked, etc. so we can see who the top of the top play each other

before people say Zayra and Brigitte are not dps… in competitive pro play the dps players play those heroes in OWLand fill those tanks in DPS slots

Stats don’t lie, but they can deceive. According to the stats, Gesture is a terrible main tank, but the players think he’s one of the best. :thinking:

This is why you have a voting system, with the casters and analysts having most of the power.

but thats where stats come in like this about it do u think gesture has better stats then bumper or mano?

The All-Star game is just a fun side thing that nobody takes super seriously. (Just like in real sports) It’s okay for it to be a popularity contest. People want to see their favorite players play.

Then All star would pretty much be Vancouver Titans versus New York Excelsior with maybe one or two players from San Francisco Shock in the mix.

Like, Ameng is GOING to be picked. That’s 100% going to happen and it will be fun.

i mean there are other event for the players but like in the NBA they get the top like 20 or 25 players and put them in the main game

but hey its not like where gonna hate it top 12 going at it

The top 12 players ‘going at it’ is called the Overwatch League Grand Finals.

aka NYXL season 1 had number 1 players “by stats wise and didnt make it to the finals”

Questionable… NYXL was definetely the dominant force in Season 1, but the Grand Finals was between Fusion and Spitfire because they choke in the semi-finals.

They always pick at least one from each team. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if for certain teams they picked players that been permabenched (NYXL DPS players, anyone?) instead of players that have been on every game.

And yeah. I’m definetely expecting the Yottachad to be on the Pacific team and problably even 1 or 2 more Hunters along with him.

But they aren’t, no getting around that. May as well just list those as pure flex slots.

techinally Zayra is a hitscan because he primary and well the flex dps play pretty much plays what the tea needs including tanks or supports so yeah
