All hail Microsoft

Microsoft will let go of 1900 employees at Activision Blizzard
This is the best news so far. I think the management and the developers were ruining the game, so if there’s no more dev, the game will improve on it’s own.

You’re a day late and a dollar short with this take.

It’s never too late to be happy about good news like this

I’m sure there was plenty of fat that needed to be trimmed.

You’re bringing an irresponsible take for this subject, because that wasn’t the reason of the layoffs.

Noone said anything about the reason… Read again maybe…
It was about the result of the action…
It’s so amazing that most arguers are actually trying to change the topic to make an arguement…

The devs, designers, and artists don’t actually control much about the game, you know? It’s the middle management, the team leads, and the people above them like the director and upper-management that have most of that power.

And looking at who was let go, you can be expecting the game to look and sound worse, without the balance or game design changing much at all. It wasn’t those people who got fired.

It’s like thinking the food will be better at a restaurant because they fired all the waiters.

Um…

This is a reason. You are correct that you didn’t specify they were fired based on the statement. But you insinuated this to be one of many reasons that it could have happened.

none of the problematic employees, like leads and management, were let go, like A.K and A.D. this will just make everything even worse because all the people with passion are now gone and the same awful leads are still in their positions to continue making the game more and more trash.
