this is ow now? comp matches are all about who gets more throwers. i need 50 avoid slots per day.

this is why i play 
mystery heroes
throwing or playing a bad hero and being extra bad with it.
They got millions of new people in OW who have little experience with the game; people who got most of their wins from random stomp wins that didn’t push them to learn the heroes/positioning/etc/etc/.
That’s not throwing. That’s being bad at the game. If you encounter a lot of those players then you’re probably no better than them tbh.

i think it not exactly throwing i think the match maker is just randomly stuffing in noobs with more seasoned players…
and the dailies disincentivice people going into VS AI prattice and learning the basics on multiple heros so you get insta-lock mains who don’t even know how to play their supposed main… usually a d.va that just stand in the choke loosing health faster then the support can keep up with then dying instantly…
at that point they are indistinguishable from a thrower…
it’s kinda madening… we need noobs to practice away from QP since the match maker is so freaking random!
Also we need to get the noobs to watch some good tutorials on youtube tha also helps a lot with understanding the game quicker… and there is a lot of nuance to this game and aspect to grasp…
Making it free to play has probably lead to a crazy influx of fresh players who are basically clueless which is perfectly understandable and fine… we just need to try to get them on a path to understanding the game and how to improve ASAP as that will improve the experience for everyone.

there is no such thing as being bad at the game. bad and good is relative to other players. if you are in my rank then you are as bad or good as i am. but if you stick with a hero that doesnt work for you, for us, for the team comp…etc and refuse to swap then you are throwing. if you wanna learn you can play qp.
ow1 was filled with throwers of any kind but this… this is something i never thought i would have to experience. i play both qp and comp and its almost the same. maybe healers are a bit better in comp.

the problem with that is that the match maker seams a bit to random at present and that is probably because of the wave of fresh players causing all sort of problems in terms of match making… which i hope will eventually even out a bit…
But right now its kinda chaotic…
Add to that the wonderfull world of freaking self propelled dog turds known as leavers and people are back filling into games more likely to have more inexperience players and falling behind…
Blizzard really need to dis-insetivice that a bit…
crashes does happen… but i think it would be fair that in addition to the 100xp you get for back fill i think its a measly 100xp… you should get like 400xp taken away from the person who left…
then maybe that little blight on the game would sort itself out.

Dude if they are practicing heroes and still maintaining the same rank as you then I hate to tell you but it’s not them that’s the issue.
No just OW2 and that’s because they miss the battle royale mode where you had to wait to log in.
It’s impossible to carry these clueless bots and I have no faith it will ever get better since it’s free now
There is no incentive to do good or to even stay in a match anymore now that we’re on the battle pass system.
