I thought it was because the guy who was involved with the skin beat his girlfriend
There was a scandal and blizzard offered to refund those players back when it happened. I very highly doubt that skin will ever be available again, even tho it looks cool.
I know why it got removed.
Hope it doesnt return because I got one.

Yeah because they’re at least nominally trying to be better, unlike a certain someone. Also Team4 wasn’t connected to that.

What’s hilarious about the skin is that by intentionally keep the skin locked away and never achievable, people will always remember the incident and its burned into the internets memory. Retold with each passing.
Put it into the shop to have people buy, then over time people won’t care any more. The guy will be forgotten and insignificant. Better yet turn the skin into a charity event since its not doing Blizzard any business at present.
Because it would have already been revealed, or at least there would have been some public firings. The info is already out there. Sure there’s a chance there’s separate cases, but it’s pretty small.
Pretty sure there was no proof he ever actually did so, just like there was no proof that the guy who McCree was named after actually did anything.

Court of public opinion, but that said, supposedly blizzard did it as an olive branch to the staff, and not so much because of anything the public said.
