It’s been increasingly obvious that more and more players are now using aimbots due to the state of the game. It’s been noticed by steamers and youtubers with them pointing it out. So…why does Blizzard do nothing about it!!!

I noticed this a few months ago and I still see a lot of suspect PotGs and kill cams. Blizzard is usually pretty good about the ban hammer, but I haven’t read of any recent ban waves. Hopefully they get this one figured out soon.

Given the state of the game, I can’t really blame em. Might as well have some fun as the ship is sinking.

Yes this is true, especially if the person is lagging/has high ping. It can make the killcam/potg look very weird and suspicious.

With that said, I have been hearing increasing reports of aimbots lately.
Watched an Ashe potg video a few days ago and that guy wasn’t even trying to hide the aimbot. His crosshairs were tracking the heads of targets even when they were out of line of sight behind the payload.

Cause the cheaters jobs are spending their time trying to find ways to bypass the anti cheat and blizzard has to do the opposite which is a lot harder. Just patch it 4Head, blizzard does do things, thats why cheating clients are so expensive in the 400$ and up range

First game of the day and I get thrown against an enemy hanzo with an aimbot. I dont really encounter aimbots that often but this was just blatant aimboting, not even trying to hide it and because he was always killing me and my team he had his ult every few seconds. I havnt seen that many dragons since the smurf hanzo back in gibralter!

It’s clear that you in fact don’t know how hard the concept is, because projectile aimbots have been around for several years. Or maybe you do know, and you’re trolling. The AI bots use projectile aimbots. All of the enemies in Junkenstein’s revenge on Hard or Legendary difficulty are pretty decent projectile aimbots. If they weren’t, everyone would have the achievements for Junkenstein and Junkenstein Endless on Legendary.

for the record today i had 2 disgusting lock ons on orisa and lucio which is weird af, also a lot of anas in lower ranks use it since she never gets potg and its the safest pick to not get banned on.

edit: they were normal aimbots so you could kind of outplay it but still. As long as they won’t be toxic they never will get banned. Sad truth
